The laboratory findings in these 4 subjects with evidence of proximal tubulopathy improved without clinical consequence upon discontinuation of Stribild, but did not completely resolve in all subjects.
If serum phosphate is confirmed to be< 0.96 mmol/L(3.0 mg/dL) in any paediatric patient receiving Stribild, renal function should be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).
Renal failure, renal impairment, elevated creatinine, hypophosphataemia and proximal tubulopathy(including Fanconi syndrome) have been reported with the use of tenofovir disoproxil(see section 4.8).
If serum phosphate is confirmed to be< 3.0 mg/dL(0.96 mmol/L) in any paediatric patient receiving Truvada, renal function should be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).
There have been post-marketing reports in association with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate of renal andurinary disorders including renal failure, proximal tubulopathy(including Fanconi syndrome), acute tubular necrosis and nephrogenic diabetes insipidus.
If serum phosphate is< 1.5 mg/dL(0.48 mmol/L) or CrCl is decreased to< 50 mL/min in any patient receiving Eviplera, renal function should be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).
Renal failure, renal impairment, elevated creatinine, hypophosphataemia and proximal tubulopathy(including Fanconi syndrome) have been reported with the use of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate in clinical practice(see section 4.8).
If serum phosphate is< 1.5 mg/ dl(0.48 mmol/ l) or creatinine clearance is decreased to< 50 ml/ min in any patient receiving Atripla, renal function must be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).
Renal failure, renal impairment, elevated creatinine, hypophosphataemia and proximal tubulopathy(including Fanconi syndrome) have been reported with the use of tenofovir disoproxil fumarate(DF) in clinical practice(see section 4.8).
If serum phosphate is confirmed to be< 3.0 mg/dl(0.96 mmol/l) in any paediatric patient receiving tenofovir disoproxil, renal function should be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).
If serum phosphate is< 1.5 mg/dL(0.48 mmol/L) or creatinine clearance is decreased to< 50 mL/min in any patient receiving, emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil renal function should be re-evaluated within one week, including measurements of blood glucose, blood potassium andurine glucose concentrations(see section 4.8, proximal tubulopathy).

Frequency not known: myopathy, osteomalacia(both associated with proximal renal tubulopathy).
Bone abnormalities(infrequently contributing to fractures)may be associated with proximal renal tubulopathy.
Asthenia 1 This adverse reaction may occur as a consequence of proximal renal tubulopathy.
Renal and urinary disorders Uncommon increased creatinine*, proximal renal tubulopathy(including Fanconi syndrome)*.
Renal and urinary disorders: Uncommon increased creatinine, proteinuria, proximal renal tubulopathy including Fanconi syndrome.
Arthralgias and muscle pain orweakness have also been reported in cases of proximal renal tubulopathy.
Bone abnormalities(infrequently contributing to fractures)may be associated with proximal renal tubulopathy(see section 4.8).
These events are not considered to be causally associated with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate therapy in the absence of proximal renal tubulopathy.
Osteomalacia(manifested as bone pain and infrequently contributing to fractures) and myopathy, both associated with proximal renal tubulopathy Renal and urinary disorders.
