The Coalition for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship in Serbia.
The project is organized by the Initiative for Democratic Transition(DTI)and the Center for Development of Social Entrepreneurship(CRSP) from Belgrade.
In the period ahead, the Framework for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship should be defined and inter-ministerial coordination strengthened.
Representatives of the civil, public and social entrepreneurship sectors will discuss the potential andimportance of cross-sectoral cooperation for the development of social entrepreneurship.
Action 4.2: Encouraging and development of social entrepreneurship.
These two products were ones of the winning products of the competition Idea for Better Tomorrow,which UniCredit Bank has been organizing since 2012 with the aim to support development of social entrepreneurship in Serbia.
EUR 40,000 are being provided for the development of social entrepreneurship in Serbia.
The info-session is organized during the period of advocacy for the adoption of the first Law on Social Entrepreneurship andthe drafting of recommendations for the preparation of programs for the development of social entrepreneurship.

April 2019. The“Razlivalište” Association,which deals with the development of social entrepreneurship among young people in Serbia, is implementing the Social Impact Award educational program, which is being implemented in 20 countries throughout the world.
Discussed at the session will be the Draft Law prepared and proposed by civil society, the practice of preparing andimplementing programs for the development of social entrepreneurship and the existing ways of financing social enterprises.
The aim of competition"Idea for a better tomorrow" was the development of social entrepreneurship and existing business, as well as finding ideas for a typical Serbian products or services which can, in best possible way, represent the country in the region and abroad and thus contribute to the improvement of its image, but also to improve Serbian export potential.
Through the first two editions of this competition, we have invested over EUR 100,000 in the development of social entrepreneurship, while this edition will provide grants in the amount of EUR 40,000.
The Coalition for the development of a solidarity economy consists of the European Movement in Serbia, the Initiative for Development and Cooperation, Smart Collective and the Trag Foundation,the founders of the former Coalition for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship, created in 2010.

November 2019. The Resource Center andthe Coalition for the Development of a Solidarity Economy are organizing an info-session:"Cross-Sectorial Cooperation for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship", to be held on November 26, 2019 at the Novi Sad Assembly building(Zarka Zrenjanina 2).
Following the adoption of the Strasbourg Declaration on Social Entrepreneurship, the stakeholders from the Western Balkans andTurkey recognised the need for a thematically similar declaration to ensure that the countries not yet members of the EU be part of the future strategies of development of social entrepreneurship.

Second edition of competition Your ideas is the basis for everything and create your own way towards the success! On Monday, November 20th, representatives of UniCredit Foundation, UniCredit Bank, Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac andSmart Kolektiv presented the winners of third edition of competition"Idea for better tomorrow" which aims to contribute to development of social entrepreneurship, as well as finding ideas for products and services which can improve image of Serbia in the region and abroad.
The project will be implemented within the EU Programme Employment and Social Innovations- EaSI(2014-2020)- Actions to boost the demand and supply side of the finance market for social enterprises. This project represents the continuation of a successful collaboration between Smart Kolektiv andERSTE Bank within the field of improving conditions for the development of social entrepreneurship in Serbia, the concept which represents an innovative method for solving social issues by using business models.
This time, UniCredit Bank 's employees have chosen to allocate the grant of EUR 5,000 to Association of Social Cooperatives homemade" Bosiljak" from Čačak. Mauricio Carrara, president of UniCredit Foundation from Milan, said:" The fact that this project was conducted for the second time in Serbia and that again a largenumber of candidates applied, points out its importance for the development of social entrepreneurship in the country and that the candidates have recognized the true value that this project promotes.
