Azerbaijan has become a pioneer in the field of broadcasting for the public accurate time reference.
However, the field of broadcasting in Serbia needs a fully functional regulatory body immediately, and the appointment of members to already vacated seats in the Council cannot and must not wait until the possible modifications of the Law in the future.

Article 8, paragraph 2, subparagraph 3 of the Broadcasting Law says that the RBA shall perform tasks related to taking measures in the field of broadcasting, with the aim of preventing the broadcasting of programs containing information inciting discrimination, hatred or violence against persons or groups of persons for their ethnic, religious, national affiliation or gender.
Defending the interests of its members and all electronic media and convinced the adopted Law on the Film Industry may have serious consequences on their operations andthe independence of regulatory bodies in the field of broadcasting, ANEM filed, back on May 30, 2012.
As for RTV1, the Report that, in view of the diversity of the content, the statutory obligation from Article 77 of the Broadcasting Law entailing that the program of PSB's must include news, cultural, artistic, educational, religious, scientific, children's, entertainment, sports and other content, in order to satisfy the needs of the citizens and other actors andthe realization of their rights in the field of broadcasting.
PROCEDURE FOR ASSESSING THE CONSTITUTIONALITY OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE LAW ON CINEMATOGRAPHYThe Law on Cinematography, which the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia adopted on 26 December 2011, contains certain provisions which are in direct collision with the existing regulations in the field of broadcasting and with the Media Strategy, and the application of which can adversely affect the functioning of broadcast media and the independence of broadcasting regulatory bodies.
Article 18 goes on detailing that the warning will be pronounced if a broadcaster is found to have: been in continuous non-compliance with the Law or a RBA act passed on the basis of the Law; violated for the first time oneof the statutory obligations, with the violation seriously undermining the realization of the principle of regulating relations in the field of broadcasting; violated any of the criteria contained in the issued broadcasting license.
