Goran joined the Pančevo Oil Refinery 17 years ago.
This year, NIS is focused on implementing the largest project in Serbia's energy sector- construction of the Bottom of the Barrel complex at Pančevo Oil Refinery.
The generated heat andelectricity will be used for the needs of the Pančevo Oil Refinery, while the excess electricity will be sold in Serbia.
The total output of the Pančevo Oil Refinery was 3.8 million tonnes of oil and semi-finished products, which is a 6% increase in comparison to 2017.
The project of modernization of refinery plants,that is, the project for increasing the depth of the refining of the Pančevo Oil Refinery, remains a key project for NIS in the next period.
This motor fuel,produced in Pančevo Oil Refinery, fully meets the most demanding requirements of the EU emission standards related to passenger cars.

Thus, in the first half of the year in the Pančevo Oil Refinery, a total of 1,696 million tonnes of oil and semi-finished products were processed, which is 3% more than in the previous year.

In newly constructed plants within the hydrocracking complex in Pančevo Oil Refinery, jet fuel the quality of which is far beyond the prescribed European quality standards is produced.

In 2012 the construction of hydrocracking and hydrotreatment facilities(MHC/DHT)was completed in Pančevo Oil Refinery, marking the completion of the first stage of modernization of NIS refining facilities.
The second stage of the Pančevo Oil Refinery modernization has begun in 2017 with the construction of the bottom-of-the-barrel plant with delayed coking technology, with the intent to make Pančevo Oil Refinery one of the most modern in Eastern Europe.

In 2018, at the Technical High School‘23 May', in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Institute for the Improvement of Education, a new educational profile Oil andGas Processing Technician was accredited for the needs of the Pančevo Oil Refinery.
