Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Israel sent messengers to Sihon king of the Amorites, saying.
Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan.
I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying.
And all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;
Woe to you, Moab! You are undone, people of Chemosh! He has given his sons as fugitives, andhis daughters into captivity, to Sihon king of the Amorites.
And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.
But Sihon would not let Israel pass through his territory.(A) He mustered his entire army and marched out into the wilderness against Israel.
And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.
