Belgrade Banking Academy Professor andlongtime banker Ismail Musabegovic told SETimes even if the euro's position is challenged,the interest will remain the same but will be expressed in another currency."Citizens will still pay in dinars but recalculated with respect to another currency," he said.
While the report assessed the euro's valuation as appropriate for the eurozone as a whole, it said the euro's real effective exchange rate was 8% to 18% too low for Germany's fundamentals, given its high current account surplus.
