Formally speaking, if you refuse to be in communion with the Russian True Orthodox Church, you place yourselves in a schismatic situation in relation to the Church of Russia.

This month(June, 2014)has seen the appearance of a revised version of the document“The True Orthodox Church and the Heresy of Ecumenism” issued by the True Orthodox Churches of Greece and Romania and Metropolitan Agathangel's“Russian Church Abroad”.
I believe that there is sufficient evidence to be found in the holy canons, the writings of the Holy Fathers and the history of the Church to come to the firm conclusion that the consecration ofBishop Akakije was valid, and his condemnation as a“schismatic” by the True Orthodox Church of Greece- unjust.
Both of us have already received communion in the Russian True Orthodox Church, with the full knowledge and blessing of hierarchs of the True Orthodox Church of Greece, and we know that the American bishops allow intercommunion with the Russian True Orthodox in America.

Management of the Property Trust,under the aegis of that“True Orthodox Church of Greece” or, the“Synod in Opposition”, or the“Cyprianites”, have recently announced that they intend, in the New Kalenich Monastery Church of St Sava, on the very feast of Saint Sava, to enthrone as their“bishop” a certain Englishman, Ambrose Baird, a convert to“Orthodoxy” from London.
We are writing to you, first, to ask you to pray for our spiritual father, Hieromonk Akakije, who is seriously ill, andsecondly to express our extreme alarm at the crisis situation that has been created in the Church by the Holy Synod's reversal of its decision to enter into communion with the True Orthodox Church of Russia(RTOC) under Archbishop Tikhon of Omsk.
As late as 1994 ROCOR under Metropolitan Vitaly officially accepted the Cyprianite ecclesiology, which recognizes World Orthodoxy as being inside the True Church, at the same time that the True Orthodox Church of Greece had not only condemned Cyprianism, but had officially condemned the new calendarists as graceless no less than four times(in 1935, 1950, 1974 and 1991).
The Russian True Orthodox Church confesses and holds the Orthodox Christian Faith as it has been preserved by Holy Tradition from the foundation of the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Orthodox Church of Christ, and as it was until 1927 in the Local Russian Church, as the Catacomb Church kept it in a confessing spirit, and as the Russian Church Abroad kept it right until the year 2000.
The ecclesiological agreement, based on the findings of the official dialoguebetween the two sides, an arduous union attempt throughout fourteen months produced an in-depth Ecclesiological Text entitled: The True Orthodox Church in Opposition to the Heresy of Ecumenism: Dogmatic and Canonical Issues which constitutes the sure ecclesiological basis of the union which was accomplished.
The dogmatic document in question(we shall call it from now on“the document”) is, on the face of it, very strong against the heresies of ecumenism and sergianism; and if its purpose were not simply to enunciate certain ecclesiological truths, butalso to reunite the so-called“Cyprianites” or“Synod in Resistance” with the True Orthodox Church, then it would probably elicit little or no criticism.
