Und darum wird ein suchender Mensch in jeder Geistesrichtung in Zweifel geraten, was auch sein muss, damit er selbst der Wahrheit nachgeht und durch ernstes Nachdenken und Verbindung mit Gott durch Gebet und Liebeswirken den Geist in sich zum Erwachen bringt, der ihn nun wahrheitsgemäß belehrt und ihn einführt in ein rechtes Wissen.
This is why every seeker in all schools of thought will experience doubts, and for good reason, so that he will pursue the truth himself, and, through earnest deliberation and in connection with God through prayer and kind-hearted activity, awaken the spirit in him, which will then instruct him truthfully and guide him into true knowledge.

You can indeed also accept this nourishment without prior activity of love, but then it is not a Communion, not a union with Me, for then it is not yet the Last Supper, but it can lead you to it if you don't just accept the Word with your ears but also with your hearts and live accordingly….
