Taking into account all relevant circumstances, the positive process is in all probability irreversible, and it is only necessary to promote it and maintain its continuity. In this context, it is especially important to invest efforts in the affirmation of modern understanding of the essence of the right to free access to information.

Na sastanku je dogovoreno da će Vlada preduzeti konkretne korake u cilju potpunijeg ostvarivanja prava na slobodan pristup informacijama, što je između ostalog podrazumevalo i predlog izmena zakona.

U radu je ostalo 4. 191 predmeta( 3. 684- pristup informacijama, 507- zaštita podataka). Prema raspoloživoj evidenciji broja poziva, ostvareno je 1. 559 kontakata sa građanima i organima vlasti radi saveta u pogledu ostvarivanja prava na slobodan pristup informacijama i sa građanima i rukovaocima podataka o ličnosti radi konsultacija u vezi sa primenom Zakona o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti i predmetima u postupku.
Cases remain active(3.648- free access to information, 507- data protection). According to available telephone call records, 1.559 contacts have been made between citizens and authority bodies for consultations regarding the free access to information rights, and between citizens and personal data administrators for consultations regarding the implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection and active cases.

I believe that there was no bad intention, but publishing of personal citizen's identification number for 33.000 citizens on the Internet and in newspapers is for sure a serious violation of their privacy and of the right to protect personal data. A mnoge stvari u vezi sa načinom delovanja PR, kvalitetom informacija, količinom angažovanih resursa, izborom kadrova, sukobom interesa i sl. mogu izazivati sumnju da je zaista tako. Zakon o slobodnom pristupu informacijama od javnog značaja Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti, u svom saopštenju od 8. juna, ocenio je kao indikativan i veoma zabrinjavajući veliki i konstantan porast broja zahteva za zaštitu prava na slobodan pristup informacijama od javnog značaja koje mu upućuju novinari, mediji i građani.
Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance On June 8, 2011, the Commissioner for Free Access to Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection issued a press release, expressing his concern over the high and increasing number of requests for the protection of the right to free access to information of public importance he was receiving from journalists, the media and the citizens.

Tim presudama se po prvi put ustanovljava( u prvoj presudi), odnosno potvrđuje( u drugoj), pravo na slobodan pristup informacijama kao osnovno ljudsko pravo garantovano Evropskom konvencijom, i to u okviru slobode izražavanja.

Okončano je 14 slučajeva i to identičnom odlukom- tužba se odbacuje. Šabić podseća i da se pravo na slobodan pristup informacijama u svim zemljama koje su ga zajemčile ograničava samo izuzetno.

Dakle, u ovom slučaju, ne samo da Poverenik nije nadležan, nego ne postoji nijedan organ koji je nadležan da štiti pravo na slobodan pristup informacijama, niti postoji uređen pravni put do njih. Potrebno je promeniti takvo stanje.
So, in this case, not only that the Commissioner is not in charge of, but there are also no authorities competent to protect the right of free access to information, nor there is any regulated legal way towards them. The current situation has to be changed.

Somborski slučaj daje nadu da smo možda na početku nove, kvalitetnije faze u primeni Zakona, u kojoj će pravo na slobodan pristup informacijama konačno biti štićeno i sankcijama.
Sombor case gives us hope that we are maybe in the beginning of the new, more qualitative phase in Law preparation, where the right to free access to information shall be protected also by sanctions.

Дакле, у овом случају, не само да Повереник није надлежан, него не постоји ниједан орган који је надлежан да штити право на слободан приступ информацијама, нити постоји уређен правни пут до њих. Потребно је променити такво стање.
Therefore, in this case, not only that this is not under the authority of Commission, but there is no authority which is authorized to protect the right of free access to information, furthermore, there is no established legal way to them. It is essential to change such state.
