They say:'Had it been the will of the Merciful, we would never have worshipped them' Of this they have no knowledge, they are but guessing.
அர் ரஹ்மான் நாடிய் இருந்தால், அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; அவர்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி யாதோர் அறிவுமில்லை அவர்கள் பொய்யே கூறுகிறார்கள்.

Yet of this they have no knowledge, they follow mere conjecture, and conjecture does not help against truth.
எனினும் அவர்களுக்கு இதைப் பற்றி எத்தகைய அறிவும் இல்லை, அவர்கள் வீணான எண்ணத்தைத் தவிர வேறெதையும் பின்பற்றவ் இல்லை, நிச்சயமாக வீண் எண்ணம்( எதுவும்) சத்தியம் நிலைப்பதைத் தடுக்க முடியாது.

மேலும்," அர் ரஹ்மான் நாடிய் இருந்தால், அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; அவர்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி யாதோர் அறிவுமில்லை அவர்கள் பொய்யே கூறுகிறார்கள்.

Yet they have no knowledge of this, and follow nothing but conjecture, but conjecture cannot replace the truth.

And they say: had the Compassionate willed we should not have worshipped them. They have no knowledge thereof; they are only guessing.
மேலும்," அர் ரஹ்மான் நாடிய் இருந்தால், அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; அவர்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி யாதோர் அறிவுமில்லை அவர்கள் பொய்யே கூறுகிறார்கள்.

But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth.
எனினும் அவர்களுக்கு இதைப் பற்றி எத்தகைய அறிவும் இல்லை, அவர்கள் வீணான எண்ணத்தைத் தவிர வேறெதையும் பின்பற்றவ் இல்லை, நிச்சயமாக வீண் எண்ணம்( எதுவும்) சத்தியம் நிலைப்பதைத் தடுக்க முடியாது.

And they say: If the Beneficent Allah had pleased, we should never have worshipped them. They have no knowledge of this; they only lie.
மேலும்," அர் ரஹ்மான் நாடிய் இருந்தால், அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; அவர்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி யாதோர் அறிவுமில்லை அவர்கள் பொய்யே கூறுகிறார்கள்.

They said,"Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise.".
அவர்கள்"( இறைவா!) நீயே தூயவன். நீ எங்களுக்குக் கற்றுக்கொடுத்தவை தவிர எதைப்பற்றியும் எங்களுக்கு அறிவு இல்லை. நிச்சயமாக நீயே பேரறிவாளன்; விவேகமிக்கோன்" எனக் கூறினார்கள்.

("Ah!") they say,"If it had been the will of(Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such(deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie!
மேலும்," அர் ரஹ்மான் நாடிய் இருந்தால், அவர்களை நாங்கள் வணங்கியிருக்க மாட்டோம்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்; அவர்களுக்கு இதைப்பற்றி யாதோர் அறிவுமில்லை அவர்கள் பொய்யே கூறுகிறார்கள்!

They have no knowledge of that. They only follow assumptions, and assumptions are no substitute for the truth.
எனினும் அவர்களுக்கு இதைப் பற்றி எத்தகைய அறிவும் இல்லை, அவர்கள் வீணான எண்ணத்தைத் தவிர வேறெதையும் பின்பற்றவ் இல்லை, நிச்சயமாக வீண் எண்ணம்( எதுவும்) சத்தியம் நிலைப்பதைத் தடுக்க முடியாது.

You call me to reject God, and to associate with Him what I have no knowledge of, while I call you to the Mighty Forgiver.
நான் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு( மாறு செய்து அவனை) நிராகரிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம், எனக்கு எதைப்பற்றி அறிவு இல்லையோ அதை நான் அவனுக்கு இணைவைக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம் என்னை அழைக்கின்றீர்கள். ஆனால் நானோ யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவனும், மிக மன்னிப்பவனுமாகியவனிடம் அழைக்கின்றேன்.

Then there are among them some un-lettered people who have no knowledge of the Book but depend upon empty hopes and are guided by mere conjecture and guess-work.
மேலும் அவர்களில் எழுத்தறிவில்லாதோரும் இருக்கின்றனர்; கட்டுக்கதைகளை( அறிந்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்களே) தவிர வேதத்தை அறிந்து வைத்திருக்கவ் இல்லை. மேலும் அவர்கள்( ஆதாரமற்ற) கற்பனை செய்வோர்கள் ஆக அன்றி வேறில்லை.

You invite me to disbelieve in Allah(and in His Oneness), and to join partners in worship with Him; of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving!
நான் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு( மாறு செய்து அவனை) நிராகரிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம், எனக்கு எதைப்பற்றி அறிவு இல்லையோ அதை நான் அவனுக்கு இணைவைக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம் என்னை அழைக்கின்றீர்கள். ஆனால் நானோ யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவனும், மிக மன்னிப்பவனுமாகியவனிடம் அழைக்கின்றேன்!

You invite me to defy Allah and to ascribe to Him partners of which I have no knowledge, while I call you to the All-mighty, the All-forgiver.
நான் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு( மாறு செய்து அவனை) நிராகரிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம், எனக்கு எதைப்பற்றி அறிவு இல்லையோ அதை நான் அவனுக்கு இணைவைக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம் என்னை அழைக்கின்றீர்கள். ஆனால் நானோ யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவனும், மிக மன்னிப்பவனுமாகியவனிடம் அழைக்கின்றேன்.

He said:'My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You of that which I have no knowledge. If You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I shall be among the losers'.
என் இறைவா! எனக்கு எதை பற்றி ஞானம் இல்லையோ அதை உன்னிடத்திலே கேட்பதை விட்டும் உன்னிடம் நான் பாதுகாப்பு தேடுகிறேன்; நீ என்னை மன்னித்து எனக்கு அருள் புரியவில்லையானால் நஷ்ட மடைந்தோரில் நான் ஆகிவிடுவேன்" என்று கூறினார்.

Nuh(Noah) said:"O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers.".
என் இறைவா! எனக்கு எதை பற்றி ஞானம் இல்லையோ அதை உன்னிடத்திலே கேட்பதை விட்டும் உன்னிடம் நான் பாதுகாப்பு தேடுகிறேன்; நீ என்னை மன்னித்து எனக்கு அருள் புரியவில்லையானால் நஷ்ட மடைந்தோரில் நான் ஆகிவிடுவேன்" என்று கூறினார்.

Ye do call upon me to blaspheme against Allah, and to join with Him partners of whom I have no knowledge; and I call you to the Exalted in Power, Who forgives again and again!".
நான் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு( மாறு செய்து அவனை) நிராகரிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம், எனக்கு எதைப்பற்றி அறிவு இல்லையோ அதை நான் அவனுக்கு இணைவைக்க வேண்டுமென்ற் உம் என்னை அழைக்கின்றீர்கள். ஆனால் நானோ யாவரையும் மிகைத்தவனும், மிக மன்னிப்பவனுமாகியவனிடம் அழைக்கின்றேன்.

You call me to deny Allah and to associate with Him as His partners those regarding whom I have no knowledge(that they are Allah's partners in His Divinity), whereas I call you to the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving?
