Recently he has sung a peppy number called"Nahna na Na" for DirectorVenkat Prabhu's Biriyani Which was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja has become a viral hit from the day it was released. Two different remix versions of the song called"New Jack Swing Mix" and"The Extended Mix" also received a massive response.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in compose music for the project, after previously collaborated for director's Kazhugu and Kazhugu 2.[5] On the first look poster release, it was revealed that Sathya Ponmar, Gopi Krishna and E. Thiyagarajan are selected as cinematographer, editor and art director respectively, who three of them previously collaborated with director on his films before.[6].
The film was initially set to be titled Theem Thari Kida.[6] In July 2002 the film was reported as being"in the finishing stages."[7] Cinematography is by Sridhar and Vikram Dharma is the stunt master.[3] The film,which had music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, was originally released on 24 January 2003, and later dubbed into Malayalam and released in 2007 under the same name.

The song"Anbil Avan" from Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa composed by A. R. Rahman ruled the music chart for months.

The soundtrack was composed by Radhan, who also composed that of the Telugu original. Vasuki was born as the only daughter to the late R. D. Bhaskar, film producer and brother of legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja. Her brothers are film director Parthi Bhaskar and playback singer and actor Hari Bhaskar, who briefly worked on an unfinished film titled Viyugam, opposite Kanchi Kaul.[2]Music directors Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, singer Bhavatharini, film director and actor Venkat Prabhu and comedy actor, singer and composer Premji Amaren are her cousins.
