அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
The one who was released said, having remembered after a time,“I will inform you of its interpretation, so send me out.”.

என் இறைவனே!( இதற்கான) ஓர் அறிகுறியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தருள்வாயாக!" என்று( ஜகரிய்யா) கேட்டார். அதற்கு( இறைவன்)," உமக்கு அறிகுறியாவது, மூன்று நாட்களுக்குச் சைகைகள் மூலமாக அன்றி நீர் மக்களிடம் பேசமாட்டீர்! நீர் உம் இறைவனை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்ந்து, அவனைக் காலையில் உம் மாலையில் உம் போற்றித் துதிப்பீராக!" என்று கூறினான்.
He said,‘My Lord, grant me a sign.' Said He,‘Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three days except in gestures. Remember Your Lord much, and glorify Him morning and evening.'.

ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய ஹஜ்ஜுகிரியைகளை முடித்ததும்,நீங்கள்( இதற்கு முன்னர்) உங்கள் தந்தையரை நினைவு கூர்ந்து சிறப்பித்ததைப்போல்- இன்னும் அழுத்தமாக, அதிகம் ஆக அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்ந்து திக்ரு செய்யுங்கள்;
And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your[previous] remembrance of your fathers or with[much] greater remembrance.

என் இறைவனே!( இதற்கான) ஓர் அறிகுறியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தருள்வாயாக!" என்று( ஜகரிய்யா) கேட்டார். அதற்கு( இறைவன்)," உமக்கு அறிகுறியாவது, மூன்று நாட்களுக்குச் சைகைகள் மூலமாக அன்றி நீர் மக்களிடம் பேசமாட்டீர்! நீர் உம் இறைவனை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்ந்து, அவனைக் காலையில் உம் மாலையில் உம் போற்றித் துதிப்பீராக!" என்று கூறினான்.
He said,"My Lord, make for me a sign." He Said,"Your sign is that you will not[be able to] speak to the people for three days except by gesture. And remember your Lord much and exalt[Him with praise] in the evening and the morning.".

அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
Then said the one who had been delivered, remembering after a time,'I will myself tell you its interpretation; so send me forth.'.

என் இறைவனே!( இதற்கான) ஓர் அறிகுறியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தருள்வாயாக!" என்று( ஜகரிய்யா) கேட்டார். அதற்கு( இறைவன்)," உமக்கு அறிகுறியாவது, மூன்று நாட்களுக்குச் சைகைகள் மூலமாக அன்றி நீர் மக்களிடம் பேசமாட்டீர்! நீர் உம் இறைவனை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்ந்து, அவனைக் காலையில் உம் மாலையில் உம் போற்றித் துதிப்பீராக!" என்று கூறினான்.
He said: My Lord! Appoint a token for me.(The angel) said: The token unto thee(shall be) that thou shalt not speak unto mankind three days except by signs. Remember thy Lord much, and praise(Him) in the early hours of night and morning.

அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
And he of the two who was released, and(now) at length remembered, said: I am going to announce unto you the interpretation, therefore send me forth.

என் இறைவனே!( இதற்கான) ஓர் அறிகுறியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தருள்வாயாக!" என்று( ஜகரிய்யா) கேட்டார். அதற்கு( இறைவன்)," உமக்கு அறிகுறியாவது, மூன்று நாட்களுக்குச் சைகைகள் மூலமாக அன்றி நீர் மக்களிடம் பேசமாட்டீர்! நீர் உம் இறைவனை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்ந்து, அவனைக் காலையில் உம் மாலையில் உம் போற்றித் துதிப்பீராக!" என்று கூறினான்.
He said:"O my Lord! Make a sign for me." Allah said:"Your sign is that you shall not speak to mankind for three days except with signals. And remember your Lord much(by praising Him again and again), and glorify(Him) in the afternoon and in the morning.".

அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
And of the two the one who was released said- and after a long time he had remembered-“I will tell you its interpretation, therefore send me forth.”.

என் இறைவனே!( இதற்கான) ஓர் அறிகுறியை எனக்குக் கொடுத்தருள்வாயாக!" என்று( ஜகரிய்யா) கேட்டார். அதற்கு( இறைவன்)," உமக்கு அறிகுறியாவது, மூன்று நாட்களுக்குச் சைகைகள் மூலமாக அன்றி நீர் மக்களிடம் பேசமாட்டீர்! நீர் உம் இறைவனை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்ந்து, அவனைக் காலையில் உம் மாலையில் உம் போற்றித் துதிப்பீராக!" என்று கூறினான்.
Zachariah prayed to God saying,"Lord, show me the evidence(that it is Divine revelation)." The Lord replied,"You must not speak to people for three days except with gestures. Commemorate your Lord often and glorify Him in the early mornings and the evenings.".

அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
Said the one of the two who had been delivered, remembering[Joseph] after a long time:‘I will inform you of its interpretation; so let me go[to meet Joseph in the prison].'.

அத்தகையோர் நின்ற நிலையில் உம், இருந்த இருப்பில் உம் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களில்( சாய்ந்து) இருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ்வை( நினைவு கூர்ந்து) துதிக்கிறார்கள்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் நீ வீணாகப் படைக்கவ் இல்லை, நீ மகா தூய்மையானவன்;( நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனைய் இலிருந்து எங்களைக் காத்தருள்வாயாக!"( என்ற் உம்;).
Who remember God while standing, sitting and[lying] on their sides, and who ponder over the creation of the heavens and the earth, saying,"Lord, You have not created all this without purpose. Glory be to You! Save us from the torment of the Fire.

அவ்விருவரில்( சிறைய் இலிருந்து) விடுதலையடைந்திருந்தவர், நீண்ட காலத்திற்குப் பின்னர்,( யூஸுஃபை) நினைவு கூர்ந்து" இக்கனவின் விளக்கத்தை நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பேன், என்னை( யூஸுஃபிடம்) அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னார்.
Then one of the two men who had been released and who, after a long time, remembered, said,"I shall tell you its interpretation; therefore, give me leave to go[to Joseph in prison].".

அத்தகையோர் நின்ற நிலையில் உம், இருந்த இருப்பில் உம் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களில்( சாய்ந்து) இருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ்வை( நினைவு கூர்ந்து) துதிக்கிறார்கள்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் நீ வீணாகப் படைக்கவ் இல்லை, நீ மகா தூய்மையானவன்;( நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனைய் இலிருந்து எங்களைக் காத்தருள்வாயாக!"( என்ற் உம்;).
Those who remember Allah when standing, sitting, and on their sides, and contemplate upon the creation of the heavens and the earth(saying:)'Lord, You have not created these in falsehood. Exaltations to You! Guard us against the punishment of the Fire.

ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய ஹஜ்ஜுகிரியைகளை முடித்ததும்,நீங்கள்( இதற்கு முன்னர்) உங்கள் தந்தையரை நினைவு கூர்ந்து சிறப்பித்ததைப்போல்- இன்னும் அழுத்தமாக, அதிகம் ஆக அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்ந்து திக்ரு செய்யுங்கள்; மனிதர்களில் சிலர்," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவ்வுலகில் ஏயே( எல்லாவற்றையும்) எங்களுக்குத் தந்துவிடு" என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்; இத்தகையோருக்கு மறுமையில் யாதொரு நற்பாக்கியம் உம் இல்லை.
And when you have completed your rites, remember Allah like your[previous] remembrance of your fathers or with[much] greater remembrance. And among the people is he who says,"Our Lord, give us in this world," and he will have in the Hereafter no share.

அத்தகையோர் நின்ற நிலையில் உம், இருந்த இருப்பில் உம் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களில்( சாய்ந்து) இருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ்வை( நினைவு கூர்ந்து) துதிக்கிறார்கள்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் நீ வீணாகப் படைக்கவ் இல்லை, நீ மகா தூய்மையானவன்;( நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனைய் இலிருந்து எங்களைக் காத்தருள்வாயாக!"( என்ற் உம்;).
Those who remember Allah while standing, and sitting, and reclining on their sides, and ponder about the creation of the heavens and the earth;“O our Lord! You have not created this without purpose; Purity is to You, therefore save us from the punishment of fire.”.

அத்தகையோர் நின்ற நிலையில் உம், இருந்த இருப்பில் உம் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களில்( சாய்ந்து) இருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ்வை( நினைவு கூர்ந்து) துதிக்கிறார்கள்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் நீ வீணாகப் படைக்கவ் இல்லை, நீ மகா தூய்மையானவன்;( நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனைய் இலிருந்து எங்களைக் காத்தருள்வாயாக!"( என்ற் உம்;).
It is these who commemorate God while standing, sitting, or resting on their sides and who think about the creation of the heavens and the earth and say,"Lord, you have not created all this without reason. Glory be to you. Lord, save us from the torment of the fire".

அத்தகையோர் நின்ற நிலையில் உம், இருந்த இருப்பில் உம் தங்கள் விலாப் புறங்களில்( சாய்ந்து) இருக்கும் போதும் அல்லாஹ்வை( நினைவு கூர்ந்து) துதிக்கிறார்கள்;. வானங்கள், பூமி ஆகியவற்றின் படைப்பைப் பற்றியும் சிந்தித்து," எங்கள் இறைவனே! இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் நீ வீணாகப் படைக்கவ் இல்லை, நீ மகா தூய்மையானவன்;( நரக) நெருப்பின் வேதனைய் இலிருந்து எங்களைக் காத்தருள்வாயாக!"( என்ற் உம்;).
Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or[lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth,[saying],"Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You[above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

அவனை நீங்கள் நினைவு கூர்வத் இல்லை அல்லவா?
He means nothing to you, remember?

உன்னை அதிகமதிகம் நினைவு கூர்வதற்க் ஆகவ் உம்( இவற்றையெல்ல் ஆம் அருள்வாயாக!).
And may remember You much.

மேலும் நாம் அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்ந்தால் அவனும் நம்மை நினைவு கூர்கின்றான்.
If we remember Allah, He will remember us.

என்று கூறி தன் சகோதரர்களை நினைவு கூர்ந்தார்.
The book made him remember his brother.

ஆண்டவரும் அவரை நினைவு கூர்ந்தார்.
The boy was making him remember.

அவரால் அது என்ன வார்த்தை என்று நினைவு கூர முடியவ் இல்லை.
He cannot remember what compelled him to do so.

என என் மனைவி சொன்னதை நான் நினைவு கூர்கிறேன்.
I remember what my aunt told me.

இந்த நடுகற்கள், இறந்தவனை நினைவு கூர.
And this message is to a dying man, remember.

நம்மில் எத்தனை பேரால் நம் துவக்கப்பள்ளி வருடங்களை நினைவு கூர முடியும்?
How many of us can remember our study topic from two weeks ago?

அல்லாஹ்வை நினைவு கூர்வது.
And God does remember.
