If Jesus had come to die, would he have said,"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet not what I will but what You will," when he prayed three times at Gethsemane?
The Scripture goes on to say in verse 39 that He fell on his face and prayed,“O my Father,if it be possible let this cup pass from me; nevertheless not as I will, but as thou will.”.
He advanced a little and fell prostrate in prayer, saying,"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will.".
Mt 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou[wilt].
