The deposit of any instrument of ratification or accession;
Instruments of ratification or accession shall be deposited with the Director General.
Member Sates shall seek to exchange information on the state of their ratification or accession procedures.
The instrument of ratification or accession shall be accompanied by the reservations set out in Annex I.

The progress of the ratification or accession shall be reviewed no later than five years from the date of entry into force of this Decision.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations shall receive andcirculate to all States the text of reservations made by States at the time of signature, ratification or accession.
(2) Each country may, at the time it signs this Act or deposits its instrument of ratification or accession, declare that it does not consider itself bound by the provisions of paragraph(1).
Member States shall inform the Council and the Commission,before 30 June 2004, of the prospective date of finalisation of their ratification or accession procedures.
In view of depositing their instruments of ratification or accession simultaneously, these countries are to exchange information with the Commission and Council on the status of the related procedures.
This Convention shall come into force on the ninetieth day following the day of deposit of the sixth instrument of ratification or accession.
Member States should exchange information on the state of their ratification or accession procedures in order to prepare the deposit of their instruments of ratification of, or accession to, the Convention.
The present Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession.
(2) Any ratification or accession after the entry into force of this Convention shall take effect on the first day of the third month after the deposit of the instrument of ratification or accession.
This Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date of the deposit with the Secretary-General of the United Nations of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession.
Article 13 Any State may,at the time of signature, ratification or accession, declare that the present Convention shall extend to all the territories for the international relations of which it is responsible, or to one or more of them.
This Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date of the deposit with the Secretary-General of the United Nations of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession.
For each State ratifying this Convention or acceding to it after the deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession, the Convention shall enter into force onthe thirtieth day after the date of the deposit of its own instrument of ratification or accession.
The present Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day following the date of deposit with the Secretary-General of the United Nations of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession.
For each State ratifying or acceding to the Convention after the deposit of the twentieth instrument of ratification or accession, the Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification or accession.
Pursuant to article 21 of the Convention, for states that ratify or accede to the Convention after this date,the Convention enters into force 30 days after their deposit of the instrument of ratification or accession.
Whereas, in order to ensure the supremacy of Community law in intra-Community transport,Member States should enter a reservation when depositing their instruments of ratification or accession whereby international transport operations between Member States are not to be regarded as international transport operations within the meaning of the Agreement;
(1) Any country may declare in its instrument of ratification or accession, or may inform the Director General by written notification at any time thereafter, that this Convention shall be applicable to all or part of those territories, designated in the declaration or notification, for the external relations of which it is responsible.
When ratifying or acceding to the HNS Convention,Member States shall inform the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation in writing that such ratification or accession has taken place in accordance with this Decision.
(1) Any Contracting State may declare in its instrument of ratification or accession, or may inform the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany by written notification at any time thereafter, that this Convention shall be applicable to one or more of the territories for the external relations of which it is responsible.
When signing, ratifying or acceding to the Bunkers Convention, Member States shall inform the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organisation in writing that such signing, ratification or accession has taken place in accordance with this Decision.
On the first day of the fourth month after the deposit of the thirteenth instrument of ratification or accession in accordance with Article 84, including the three Member States in which the highest number of European patents had effect in the year preceding the year in which the signature of the Agreement takes place(Germany, France and the United Kingdom).
When ratifying the United Nations Convention on a Code of Conduct for Liner Conferences, or when acceding thereto,Member States shall inform the Secretary-General of the United Nations in writing that such ratification or accession has taken place in accordance with this Regulation.
(2) With respect to any country other than those for which this Agreement has entered into force in accordance with paragraph(1), it shall enter into force three months after the date on which its ratification or accession was notified by the Director General, unless a subsequent date has been indicated in the instrument of ratification or accession.
Whereas, since the subject matter of the AETR Agreement falls within the scope of this Regulation, the power to negotiate and conclude the Agreement lies with the Community; whereas, however, the particular circumstances in which the AETR negotiations took place warrant, by way of exception,a procedure whereby the Member States of the Community individually deposit the instruments of ratification or accession in a concerted action but nonetheless act in the interest and on behalf of the Community;
