In 2005, the  Committee on the  Rights of the  Child( CRC) recommended ratification of the Optional Protocols to the  Convention, the  Convention relating to the  Status of  Refugees,the  Convention on the  Status of  Stateless Persons, the  Convention on the  Reduction of  Statelessness, the  Hague Convention on the  Civil Aspects of  International Child Abduction, the  Hague Convention on Protection of  Children and Cooperation in Respect of  Inter-country Adoption, and the Protocol  to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons.
