In 2008, the Section issued 250 daily reports, 50 weekly reports, and 11 monthly reports.

The Criminal Law and Judicial Advisory Section issued its Primer for Justice Components in Multidimensional Peace Operations and its Prison Support Guidance Manual.
During the reporting period, the Investigations Section issued 36 reports and communications to programme managers, containing 95 recommendations, compared with 35 reports issued in the previous reporting period.
Moreover, of direct consequence to mission service, the Section issued an amended administrative instruction on mobility and hardship allowance which incorporated changes agreed upon by the International Civil Service Commission that were meant to simplify and streamline the entitlement.
