Focal ratio F/10(e.g. Celestron C8-Series), exit pupil 10 mm>> focal length 100 mm; with an exit pupil of 8 mm, it is still 80 mm, with one of 7 mm, it is only 70 mm.
Note: These tables include a TSWA32 eyepiece(2", 32 mm focal length, 70° viewingangle) that I borrowed together with the StarTravel 120, as well as the Celestron C8.
Celestron had been doing this for quite some time in the form of the StarSense module, but I had not noticed that, and it was initially limited to Celestron telescopes.

In the following table, I apply these recommendations to the Sky-Watcher"kit eyepieces"(with Barlow lens)to my telescopes as well as to the"extreme" Celestron C8 to check to what extent the kit eyepieces represent a good selection of focal lengths.
CS Celestron StarSense module*"identifiable" means that I compared the photos with other photos or sketches of the object and that I found features that allowed to identify the object this applies particularly to open and globular star clusters.
And so I thought that I try out this"children'stelescope," which corresponds to the Sky-Watcher Heritage 76 or Celestron FirstScope 76(300 mm focal length) from the technical data perspective, and bought it in the Omegon version in February 2017.
At the end of February 2017,I had the chance to borrow a Celestron FirstScope 76 to, on the one hand, compare it with my new Sky-Watcher Infinity 76 telescope for kids(in the Omegon version) because they both have similar specifications, and, on the other hand, to check once again, whether this identically constructed telescope does not exhibit the weaknesses of my Heritage 76 that I gave away.
From what I understand, the easiest wayto establish a WLAN connection between the StarSense module and a computer is via the Celestron Sky Portal WiFi module or via the SkyFi3 module of Simulation Curriculum the former is connected either to the handbox port or an AUX port, the latter to the handbox.
At the edge of the dirt road"auf der Hub" I stationed my observation instruments, consisting of a Celestron C5(f=1250mm, D=125mm) with focally installed Olympus OM1 as well as Revue refractor(f=910mm, D=60mm) with Canon EOS500N and 2x tele converter for photography and a SkyWatcher refractor(f=700mm, D=70mm) for observation, as well as a video camera Sony DCR VX 700 with 2x tele converter for occasional video recording.
