The EESC believes that further development of the EQF should be focused on strengthening the cooperation of Member States and all the stakeholders,the importance of recognition of skills and qualifications for further education, validation of skills acquired through non-formal and informal learning, with special attention to transversal skills. .
As regards the provisions on recognition of qualification(Article 32(1) and(2)), equal treatment and facilitation obligation are better articulated andas regards validation of skills, the equal treatment obligation is separately displayed to mark the difference between the two schemes.
