Clean seawater may be used with live bivalve molluscs,echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods;
Most Tunicates are filter feeders but this one, uniquely, has become a predator and it's greatly enlarged siphon has been converted into a trap.
This Section does not apply to bivalve molluscs,echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods if they are still alive when placed on the market.

Whereas, in accordance with Article 8 of Directive 91/492/EEC, the health certificate should attest that the conditions of production, purification, storage, packaging and transport of live bivalve molluscs,echinoderms, tunicates and marine gastropods intended for the Community are at least equivalent to those laid down for the Community products;
