EC unit verification.
CONFORMITY BASED ON UNIT VERIFICATION.

Module G(conformity based unit verification);
MODULE: UNIT VERIFICATION.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY BASED ON UNIT VERIFICATION.
MODULE G: Unit verification.
The manufacturer must apply to a notified body of his choice for unit verification.
(f) the unit verification(Module G) procedure referred to in Annex II(6).
(mm) Where tests are conducted without using the harmonised standard for noise measurement,module G(conformity based unit verification);
(iv) or, having undergone the unit verification procedure, referred to in Annex X, by a notified body;
In addition to the procedures referred to in paragraph 1(a),(b) and(c), the manufacturer or his authorized representative established in the Community may also, in order to affix the CE marking,follow the procedure relating to CE unit verification(referred to in Annex IX).
The contracting entity(9)shall lodge an application for EC verification(through unit verification) of the subsystem with a Notified Body of his choice.

Conformity based on unit verification is the conformity assessment procedure whereby the manufacturer fulfils the obligations laid down in points 6.2, 6.3 and 6.5, and ensures and declares on his sole responsibility that the appliance or the fitting concerned, which has been subject to point 6.4, is in conformity with the requirements of this Regulation that apply to it.
