And Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves(their own souls).
اور اﷲ نے ظلم نہ کیا اُن پر، لیکن اپنا بُرا کرتے رہے

We provided you with shade from the clouds and sent down manna and quails as the best pure sustenance for you to eat. They(children of Israel) did not wrong Us but wronged themselves.
اور ہم نے تم پر بادل کا سایہ کیا اور تم پر من و سلویٰ اتارا(اور کہہ دیا) کہ ہماری دی ہوئی پاکیزه چیزیں کھاؤ، اور انہوں نے ہم پر ﻇلم نہیں کیا، البتہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے تھے

Are they but waiting for the angels to come to them, or for the command of your Lord to arrive? Those before them did likewise. God did not wrong them, but they used to wrong their own souls.
کیا اب اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتے آویں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آئے اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور الله نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا اور لیکن وہ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. Their gods, whom they invoked besides God, availed them nothing when the command of your Lord arrived. In fact, they added only to their ruin.
اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہ کیا خود انہوں نے اپنا برا کیا تو ان کے معبود جنہیں اللہ کے سوا پوجتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئے جب تمہارے رب کا حکم آیا اور ان سے انہیں ہلاک کے سوا کچھ نہ بڑھا

And We made the clouds a canopy for you and sent down Manna and Salwa(birds) on you;“Eat of the pure things We have provided you”; they did not wrong Us in the least, but indeed they wronged themselves.
اور ہم نے تم پر بادل کا سایہ کیا اور تم پر من و سلویٰ اتارا(اور کہہ دیا) کہ ہماری دی ہوئی پاکیزه چیزیں کھاؤ، اور انہوں نے ہم پر ﻇلم نہیں کیا، البتہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے تھے

We did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves. When your Lord's edict came, their gods whom they would invoke besides Allah were of no avail to them in any wise, and they did not increase them in anything but ruin.
اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہ کیا خود انہوں نے اپنا برا کیا تو ان کے معبود جنہیں اللہ کے سوا پوجتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئے جب تمہارے رب کا حکم آیا اور ان سے انہیں ہلاک کے سوا کچھ نہ بڑھا

Do they not consider that the angels may come to them, or your Lord's edict may come? Those who were before them had acted likewise; Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
کیا اب اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتے آویں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آئے اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور الله نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا اور لیکن وہ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

We did not wrong them; it is rather they who wronged themselves. And when the command of your Lord came to pass, the gods besides Allah whom they had called upon, did not avail them in the least. They added nothing to them except ruin.
اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہ کیا خود انہوں نے اپنا برا کیا تو ان کے معبود جنہیں اللہ کے سوا پوجتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئے جب تمہارے رب کا حکم آیا اور ان سے انہیں ہلاک کے سوا کچھ نہ بڑھا

اور ہم نے تم پر بادل کا سایہ کیا اور تم پر من و سلویٰ اتارا(اور کہہ دیا) کہ ہماری دی ہوئی پاکیزه چیزیں کھاؤ، اور انہوں نے ہم پر ﻇلم نہیں کیا، البتہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے تھے

What they spend in the life of this world is like a frosty wind which smites and destroys the crops of a people who had wronged themselves. God did not wrong them, they wronged themselves.
یہ کفار جو خرچ اخراجات کریں اس کی مثال یہ ہے کہ ایک تند ہوا چلی جس سے پاﻻ تھا جو ﻇالموں کی کھیتی پر پڑا اور اسے تہس نہس کر دیا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان پر ﻇلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے تھے

کیا یہ(کافر) اس بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ فرشتے ان کے پاس(جان نکالنے) آئیں یا تمہارے پروردگار کا حکم(عذاب) آپہنچے۔ اسی طرح اُن لوگوں نے کیا تھا جو اُن سے پہلے تھے اور خدا نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے
