Allah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdness.
بیشک اللہ انصاف کا، احسان کا، اور رشتہ داروں کو اس کے حقوق دینے کا حکم دیتا ہے

And when they commit an indecency, they say: we found our fathers thereon, and God hath enjoined it on us. Say thou. verily Allah enjoineth not an indecency; say ye falsely of Allah that which ye know not?

وہ تو تمہیں یہی حکم دے گا بدی اور بے حیائی کا اور یہ کہ اللہ پر وہ بات جوڑو جس کی تمہیں خبر نہیں

And Allah coineth a similitude: Two men, one of them dumb, having control of nothing, and he is a burden on his owner; whithersoever he directeth him to go, he bringeth no good. Is he equal with one who enjoineth justice and followeth a straight path(of conduct)?
اللہ تعالیٰ ایک اور مثال بیان فرماتا ہے، دو شخصوں کی، جن میں سے ایک تو گونگا ہے اور کسی چیز پر اختیار نہیں رکھتا بلکہ وه اپنے مالک پر بوجھ ہے کہیں بھی اسے بھیجے وه کوئی بھلائی نہیں ﻻتا، کیا یہ اور وه جو عدل کا حکم دیتا ہے اور ہے بھی سیدھی راه پر، برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟?

اور اللہ نے ایک اور مثال ان دو انسانوں کی بیان کی ہے جن میں سے ایک گونگا ہے اور اس کے بس میں کچھ نہیں ہے بلکہ وہ خود اپنے مولا کے سر پر ایک بوجھ ہے کہ جس طرف بھی بھیج دے کوئی خیر لے کر نہ آئے گا تو کیا وہ اس کے برابر ہوسکتا ہے جو عدل کا حکم دیتا ہے اور سیدھے راستہ پر گامزن ہے?

تمہیں بدی اور فحش کا حکم دیتا ہے اور یہ سکھاتا ہے کہ تم اللہ کے نام پر وہ باتیں کہو جن کے متعلق تمہیں علم نہیں ہے کہ وہ اللہ نے فرمائی ہیں

And when We made with you a covenant and caused the Mount to tower above you,(saying): Hold fast by that which We have given you, and hear(Our Word), they said: We hear and we rebel. And(worship of) the calf was made to sink into their hearts because of their rejection(of the covenant). Say(unto them): Evil is that which your belief enjoineth on you, if ye are believers.
اور(یاد کرو) جب ہم نے تم سے پیمان لیا او ر کوہ ِ طور کو تمہارے سروں پر بلند کیا، لو جو ہم تمہیں دیتے ہیں زور سے اور سنو بولے ہم نے سنا اور نہ مانا اور ان کے دلوں میں بچھڑا رچ رہا تھا ان کے کفر کے سبب تم فرمادو کیا برا حکم دیتا ہے تم کو تمہارا ایمان اگر ایمان رکھتے ہو

Allah enjoineth justice and kindness, and giving to kinsfolk, and forbiddeth lewdness and abomination and wickedness. He exhorteth you in order that ye may take heed.
اللہ عدل اور احسان اور صلہ رحمی کا حکم دیتا ہے اور بدی و بے حیائی اور ظلم و زیادتی سے منع کرتا ہے وہ تمہیں نصیحت کرتا ہے تاکہ تم سبق لو

And approach not the substance of an orphan save with that which is best until he attaineth his age of strength, and fill up the measure and balance with equity- We burthen not a soul except according to its capacity and when ye speak, be fair, even though it be against a kinsman; and the covenant of Allah fulfil. Thus He enjoineth you that haply ye may be admonished.
اور سوائے کسی بہتر طریقہ کے یتیم کے مال کے پاس نہ جاؤ یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچے اور ناپ اور تول کو انصاف سے پورا کرو ہم کسی کو اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے اور جب بات کہو انصاف سے کہو اگرچہ رشتہ داری ہو اور الله کا عہد پورا کرو تمہیں یہ حکم دیا ہے تاکہ تم نصیحت حاصل کرو

The devil promiseth you destitution and enjoineth on you lewdness. But Allah promiseth you forgiveness from Himself with bounty. Allah is All-Embracing, All-knowing.
شیطان تمہیں فقیری سے دھمکاتا ہے اور بےحیائی کا حکم دیتا ہے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ تم سے اپنی بخشش اور فضل کا وعده کرتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ وسعت واﻻ اور علم واﻻ ہے

Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright(toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him(only). As He brought you into being, so return ye(unto Him).
تم فرماؤ میرے رب نے انصاف کا حکم دیا ہے، اور اپنے منہ سیدھے کرو ہر نماز کے وقت اور اس کی عبادت کرو نرے(خالص) اس کے بندے ہوکر، جیسے اس نے تمہارا آغاز کیا ویسے ہی پلٹو گے

There is no good in much of their secret conferences save(in) him who enjoineth almsgiving and kindness and peace-making among the people. Whoso doeth that, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall bestow on him a vast reward.
ان کے اکثر مشوروں میں کچھ بھلائی نہیں مگر جو حکم دے خیرات یا اچھی بات یا لوگوں میں صلح کرنے کا اور جو اللہ کی رضا چاہنے کو ایسا کرے اسے عنقریب ہم بڑا ثواب دیں گے

Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright(toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him(only). As He brought you into being, so return ye(unto Him).
کہہ دو میرے رب نے انصاف کا حکم دیا ہے اور ہر نماز کےوقت اپنے منہ سیدھے کرو اور اس کے خالص فرمانبردار ہو کر اسے پکارو جس طرح تمہیں پہلے پیدا کیا ہے اسی طرح دوبارہ پیدا ہو گے
