When they hear the thunderclap, they thrust their fingers into their ears for fear of death, but Allah is encircling the disbelievers on all sides.
یا جیسا کہ آسمان سے بارش ہو جس میں اندھیرے اور گرج اور بجلی ہو اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں کڑک کے سبب سے موت کے ڈر سے دیتے ہوں اور الله کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

Or that of a rainstorm from the sky, wherein is darkness, thunder and lightning: they put their fingers in their ears due to the thunderclaps, apprehensive of death; and Allah besieges the faithless.
یا آسمانی برسات کی طرح جس میں اندھیریاں اور گرج اور بجلی ہو، موت سے ڈر کر کڑاکے کی وجہ سے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کو گھیرنے واﻻ ہے

یا آسمانی برسات کی طرح جس میں اندھیریاں اور گرج اور بجلی ہو، موت سے ڈر کر کڑاکے کی وجہ سے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں۔ اور اللہ تعالیٰ کافروں کو گھیرنے واﻻ ہے

Or their example is like a rain pouring from the sky wherein there are layers of darkness and thunder and lightning(as well). They thrust their fingers into their ears, fearing death due to the thunder. And Allah has encompassed the disbelievers.
یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک(بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہےo

یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک(بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

ان کی دوسری مثال آسمان کی اس بارش کی ہے جس میں تاریکی اور گرج چمک سب کچھ ہوکہ موت کے خوف سے کڑک دیکھ کر کانوں میں انگلیاں رکھ لیں. حالانکہ خدا کافروں کا احاطہ کئے ہوئے ہے اور یہ بچ کر نہیں جاسکتے ہیں

Or, like(those who, under) a cloudburst from the sky with darkness, thunder and lightning, they thrust their fingers in their ears at the sound of every thunderclap for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the unbelievers.
یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک(بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

یا ان کی مثال اس بارش کی سی ہے جو آسمان سے برس رہی ہے جس میں اندھیریاں ہیں اور گرج اور چمک(بھی) ہے تو وہ کڑک کے باعث موت کے ڈر سے اپنے کانوں میں انگلیاں ٹھونس لیتے ہیں، اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے

Or[the parable] of a violent cloudburst in the sky, with utter darkness, thunder and lightning: they put their fingers into their ears to keep out the peals of thunder, in terror of death; but God encompasses[with His might] all who deny the truth.
یا جیسے آسمان سے اترنے والی بارش، جس میں کئی اندھیرے ہیں اور گرج اور چمک ہے، وہ کڑکنے والی بجلیوں کی وجہ سے موت کے ڈر سے اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں اور اللہ کافروں کو گھیرنے والا ہے

Or(another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ever round the rejecters of Faith!
یا جیسا کہ آسمان سے بارش ہو جس میں اندھیرے اور گرج اور بجلی ہو اپنی انگلیاں اپنے کانوں میں کڑک کے سبب سے موت کے ڈر سے دیتے ہوں اور الله کافروں کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے!

Or like abundant rain from the cloud in which is utter darkness and thunder and lightning; they put their fingers into their ears because of the thunder peal, for fear of death, and Allah encompasses the unbelievers.".
یا(ان کا حال) اس بارش کی طرح ہے جو(گھٹا ٹوپ) بادل سے(برس رہی) ہو(ایسی بارش) جس کے ساتھ(قسم قسم کے) اندھیرے اور گرج اور بجلی ہوتی ہے‘ وہ اپنی انگلیوں کو کڑک کی وجہ سے موت کے ڈر سے کانوں میں ڈال لیتے ہیں حالانکہ اللہ تمام کافروں کو تباہ کرنے والا ہے
