کیا یہ اسی بات کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس فرشتے آجائیں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آجائے؟?

لہٰذا تم اپنے رب کے حکم پر صبر کرو، اور اِن میں سے کسی بد عمل یا منکر حق کی بات نہ مانو

اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا لیکن وہی اپنی جانو ں پر ظلم کر گئے پھر ان کے وہ معبود کچھ کام نہ آئے جنہیں و ہ الله کے سوا پکارتے تھے جس وقت تیرے رب کا حکم آ پہنچا اور ان معبودوں نے سوا ہلاکت کے انہیں کچھ بھی فائدہ نہ دیا

اور ہم نے ان لوگوں پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ انہوں نے خود اپنے اُوپر ظلم کیا۔ غرض جب تمہارے پروردگار کا حکم آپہنچا تو جن معبودوں کو وہ خدا کے سوا پکارا کرتے تھے وہ ان کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے۔ اور تباہ کرنے کے سوا ان کے حق میں اور کچھ نہ کرسکے

O Abraham, turn away from this; thy Lord's command has surely come, and there is coming upon them a chastisement not to be turned back.'.
اے ابراہیم اس خیال میں نہ پڑ بیشک تیرے رب کا حکم آچکا اور بیشک ان پر عذاب آنے والا ہے کہ پھیرا نہ جائے گا

اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا تھا لیکن انہوں نے(خود ہی) اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا، سو ان کے وہ جھوٹے معبود جنہیں وہ اﷲ کے سوا پوجتے تھے ان کے کچھ کام نہ آئے، جب آپ کے رب کا حکمِ(عذاب) آیا، اور وہ(دیوتا) تو صرف ان کی ہلاکت و بربادی میں ہی اضافہ کر سکے

O Abraham, turn away from this; thy Lord's command has surely come, and there is coming upon them a chastisement not to be turned back.'.
اے ابراھیم یہ خیال چھوڑ دے کیوں کہ تیرے رب کا حکم آ چکا ہے اور بے شک ان پرعذاب آ کر ہی رہے گا جو ٹلنے والا نہیں

کیا اب اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتے آویں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آئے اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور الله نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا اور لیکن وہ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

اے ابراہیم! اس خیال کو چھوڑ دیجئے، آپ کے رب کا حکم آپہنچا ہے، اور ان پر نہ ٹالے جانے واﻻ عذاب ضرور آنے واﻻ ہے

(اے رسول) یہ(منکرین) صرف اس بات کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس(عذاب والے) فرشتے آجائیں یا آپ کے پروردگار کا حکم(عذاب) آجائے؟ ایسا ہی ان لوگوں نے کیا تھا جو ان سے پہلے خود ہی اپنے اوپر ظلم کرتے رہے

(ہم نے کہا) اے ابراہیم(ع) اس بات کو چھوڑ دیں تمہارے پروردگار کا حکم(عذاب) آچکا ہے یقینا ان لوگوں پر وہ عذاب آکے رہے گا۔ جو پلٹایا نہیں جا سکتا

کیا یہ اسی بات کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس فرشتے آجائیں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آجائے؟ ایسا ہی ان لوگوں نے بھی کیا تھا جو ان سے پہلے تھے۔ ان پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی ﻇلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے رہے

(آخر کار ہمارے فرشتوں نے اس سے کہا)"اے ابراہیمؑ، اس سے باز آ جاؤ، تمہارے رب کا حکم ہو چکا ہے اور اب ان لوگوں پر وہ عذاب آکر رہے گا جو کسی کے پھیرے نہیں پھر سکتا

کیا یہ(کافر) اس بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ فرشتے ان کے پاس(جان نکالنے) آئیں یا تمہارے پروردگار کا حکم(عذاب) آپہنچے۔ اسی طرح اُن لوگوں نے کیا تھا جو اُن سے پہلے تھے اور خدا نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے

O Abraham, turn away from this; thy Lord's command has surely come, and there is coming upon them a chastisement not to be turned back.'.
(فرشتوں نے کہا:) اے ابراہیم! اس(بات) سے درگزر کیجئے، بیشک اب تو آپ کے رب کا حکمِ(عذاب) آچکا ہے، اور انہیں عذاب پہنچنے ہی والا ہے جو پلٹایا نہیں جا سکتا

The Command of thy Lord.
اپنے پروردگار حکم کے

At the same time thy Lord commanded the angels: I am with you; so make firm the steps of those who believe.
تمہارا پروردگار فرشتوں کو ارشاد فرماتا تھا کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں تم مومنوں کو تسلی دو

We descend not but by command of thy Lord.
اور ہم نہیں اترتے مگر حکم سے تیرے رب کے

Gabriel'We descend only by command of thy Lord!
اور ہم نہیں اترتے مگر حکم سے تیرے رب کے۔!

That thy Lord has at His command(all) Forgiveness as well as a most Grievous Penalty.
یقیناً آپ کا رب معافی والا(۱) اور دردناک عذاب والا ہے۔(۲
