اور انہوں نے ہم پر ظلم نہیں کیا، البتہ وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

Whom the angels take while still they are wronging themselves.' Then they will offer surrender:'We were doing nothing evil.'Nay; but surety God has knowledge of the things you did.
وه جو اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے ہیں، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وه جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے۔ کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جاننے واﻻ ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے

Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.
حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اللہ لوگوں پر ظلم نہیں کرتا، لوگ خود ہی اپنے اُوپر ظلم کرتے ہیں

یقینا اللہ لوگوں پر ذرہ برابر بھی ظلم نہیں کرتا۔ مگر لوگ خود اپنے اوپر ظلم کرتے ہیں

Those whom the angels take away while they were wronging themselves. Thereat they submit:‘We were not doing any evil!'‘Yes,[the angels say to them,] indeed Allah knows best what you used to do!
وه جو اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے ہیں، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وه جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے۔ کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جاننے واﻻ ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے!

خدا تو لوگوں پر کچھ ظلم نہیں کرتا لیکن لوگ ہی اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے ہیں

The ones whom the angels take in death[while] wronging themselves, and[who] then offer submission,[saying],"We were not doing any evil." But, yes! Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what you used to do.
وه جو اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے ہیں، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وه جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے۔ کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جاننے واﻻ ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے

وه جو اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے ہیں، فرشتے جب ان کی جان قبض کرنے لگتے ہیں اس وقت وه جھک جاتے ہیں کہ ہم برائی نہیں کرتے تھے۔ کیوں نہیں؟ اللہ تعالیٰ خوب جاننے واﻻ ہے جو کچھ تم کرتے تھے

Those whose souls the angels remove whilst they were wronging themselves; so now they will plead“We never used to do any wrong”;"Yes you did, why not? Indeed Allah well knows what you used to do.".
وہ کہ فرشتے ان کی جان نکالتے ہیں اس حال پر کیا وہ اپنا برا کررہے تھے اب صلح ڈالیں گے کہ ہم تو کچھ برائی نہ کرتے تھے ہاں کیوں نہیں، بیشک اللہ خوب جانتا ہے جو تمہارے کوتک(برے اعمال) تھے

And to those who are Jews We have prohibited that which We related to you before. And We did not wrong them[thereby], but they were wronging themselves.
اورجو لوگ یہودی ہیں ہم نے ان پر حرا م کی جو تجھے پہلے سنا چکے ہیں اورہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا لیکن وہ اپنے اوپر آپ ظلم کرتے تھے

اور یہود پر ہم نے وہی چیزیں حرام کی تھیں جو ہم پہلے آپ سے بیان کر چکے ہیں اور ہم نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا تھا لیکن وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کیا کرتے تھے

We have sent no apostle but that he should be obeyed by the will of God. If they had come to you after wronging themselves and asked forgiveness of God, and you had also asked forgiveness for them, they would surely have found God forgiving and merciful.
اور ہم نے کوئی رسول نہیں بھیجا مگر اس لئے کہ اللہ کے حکم سے اس کی اطاعت کی جائے کاش جب یہ لوگ(گناہ کرکے) اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کر بیٹھے تھے اگر آپ کے پاس آجاتے اور اللہ سے بخشش طلب کرتے اور رسول بھی ان کے لئے دعائے مغفرت کرتے تو یقینا اللہ کو بڑا توبہ قبول کرنے والا اور بڑا مہربان پاتے

Do the disbelievers await[anything] except that the angels should come to them or there comes the command of your Lord? Thus did those do before them. And Allah wronged them not, but they had been wronging themselves.
کیا اب اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان پر فرشتے آویں یا تیرے رب کا حکم آئے اسی طرح ان سے پہلوں نے بھی کیا تھا اور الله نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا اور لیکن وہ اپنے نفسوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

And We shaded you with clouds and sent down to you manna and quails,[saying],"Eat from the good things with which We have provided you." And they wronged Us not- but they were[only] wronging themselves.
اور ہم نے تم پر بادل کا سایہ کیا اور تم پر من و سلویٰ اتارا(اور کہہ دیا) کہ ہماری دی ہوئی پاکیزه چیزیں کھاؤ، اور انہوں نے ہم پر ﻇلم نہیں کیا، البتہ وه خود اپنی جانوں پر ﻇلم کرتے تھے

کاہے کے انتظار میں ہیں مگر اس کے کہ فرشتے ان پر آئیں یا تمہارے رب کا عذاب آئے ان سے اگلوں نے ایسا ہی کیا اور اللہ نے ان پر کچھ ظلم نہ کیا، ہاں وہ خود ہی اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے تھے

کیا یہ(کافر) اس بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ فرشتے ان کے پاس(جان نکالنے) آئیں یا تمہارے پروردگار کا حکم(عذاب) آپہنچے۔ اسی طرح اُن لوگوں نے کیا تھا جو اُن سے پہلے تھے اور خدا نے اُن پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنے آپ پر ظلم کرتے تھے

Has there not reached them the news of those before them- the people of Noah and[the tribes of]'Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.
کیا ان لوگوں کے پاس ان سے پہلے والے افراد قوم نوح علیھ السّلام, عاد علیھ السّلام, ثمود علیھ السّلام, قوم ابراہیم علیھ السّلام, اصحاب مدین اور الٹ دی جانے والی بستیوں کی خبرنہیں آئی جن کے پاس ان کے رسول واضح نشانیاں لے کر آئے اور انہوں نے انکار کردیا-خدا کسی پر ظلم کرنے والا نہیں ہے لوگ خود اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرتے ہیں
