எங்கள் இறைவனே! நீ எங்களை விட்டும் இந்த வேதனையை நீக்குவாயாக! நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் முஃமின்கள் ஆக இருக்கிறோம்"( எனக் கூறுவர்).

நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உம்மை எங்களிடையே பலவீனமான ஒருவராகவே காண்கின்றோம்.

( அவ்வாறாயின் அதனால் எங்களுக்கு) எந்தக் கெடுதியுமில்லை நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் எங்கள் இறைவனிடம் தாம் திரும்பிச் செல்வோம்" எனக் கூறினார்கள்.
They said,“No harm(in it), we will return to our Lord.”.

நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உங்களுக்கு இதை சொல்ல விரும்புகிறோம்.

ஆனால் நாம் என்றால் நம்மை பகுத்தறிவுள்ளவர்கள் ஆகவ் உம் செய்யப்பட்டனர், அவ்வாறு செய்த் இருந்தால் நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் தீர்மானித்தனர் மாட்டாது.
But if we judged[or discerned] ourselves truly, we would not be judged.

நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உன்னையே முன்னோக்குகிறோம்"( என்ற் உம் பிரார்த்தித்தார்).
Indeed, we have turned back to You.

நாளைக்கு அவரை எங்கள் உடன் அனுப்பி வையுங்கள்.( காட்டிலுள்ள கனிகளைப்) புசித்துக் கொண்டும் விளையாடிக் கொண்டும் இருப்பார்; நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் அவரைப் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்வோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
Send him forth with us tomorrow, to frolic and play; surely we shall be watching over him.'.

நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் இங்க் ஏயே உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
Indeed, we are remaining right here.".

( அதற்கு அவர்கள்)" எங்களுடைய தந்தையே! எங்களுடைய பாவங்களை மன்னிக்கும் ஆறு எங்களுக்க் ஆக( இறைவனிடம்) பிரார்த்தனை செய்யுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் தவறு செய்தவர்கள் ஆக இருக்கின்றோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
They said:"O our father! Ask forgiveness(from Allah) for our sins, indeed we have been sinners.".

நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவனால் அனுப்பப்பட்டதூதர்( களாகிய மலக்கு )களாவோம்!
Verily, we are the Messengers from your Lord!

அப்படியல்ல! அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்;" நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய மூதாதையர்களை ஒரு மார்க்கத்தில் கண்டோம்; நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் அவர்களுடைய அடிச்சவடுகளையே பின்பற்றுகிறோம்.".
Nay! they say: verily we have found our fathers on a certain way, and verily by their footsteps we are guided.

மேலும், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள்( அல்லாஹ்வைத் துதி செய்து) தஸ்பீஹு செய்பவர்கள் ஆக இருக்கிறோம்.".
And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah.".

அதற்கு அவர்கள்;" எங்கள் இறைவனே! எங்களுக்கு நாங்களே தீங்கிழைத்துக் கொண்டோம்- நீ எங்களை மன்னித்துக் கிருபை செய்யாவிட்டால், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் நஷ்டமடைந்தவர்களாகி விடுவோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்!
They said: Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us, surely we are of the lost!

மேலும், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள்( அல்லாஹ்வைத் துதி செய்து) தஸ்பீஹு செய்பவர்கள் ஆக இருக்கிறோம்.".
And indeed we are those who say His purity.”.

அவர்கள் அதற்க் உள் இருக்கும் வரை ஒரு போதும் நாங்கள் அதில் நுழையவே மாட்டோம் நீரும் உம்முடைய இறைவனும் இருவருமே சென்று போர் புரியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் இங்க் ஏயே உட்கார்ந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறோம்.''.
We shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both surely we will here sit down.

எங்கள் இறைவா! நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் எங்கள் தலைவர்களுக்க் உம், எங்கள் பெரியவர்களுக்க் உம் வழிப்பட்டோம்; அவர்கள் எங்களை வழி கெடுத்துவிட்டார்கள்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.
And they will say: our Lord! verily we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they led us astray from the way.

அவருடைய சமூகத்தாரில் நிராகரித்தவர்களின் தலைவர்கள்,( அவரை நோக்கி)" நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் உம்மை மடமையில்( மூழ்கிக்கிடப்பவராகவே) காண்கின்றோம்; மேலும் நிச்சயமாக நாம் உம்மைப் பொய்யர்களில் ஒருவர் ஆகக் கருதுகிறோம்" என்று கூறினார்கள்.
The chiefs of those who disbelived among his people said: verily we see thee in folly, and verily we deem thee to be of the liars.

எங்கள் இறைவா! நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் எங்கள் தலைவர்களுக்க் உம், எங்கள் பெரியவர்களுக்க் உம் வழிப்பட்டோம்; அவர்கள் எங்களை வழி கெடுத்துவிட்டார்கள்" என்ற் உம் அவர்கள் கூறுவார்கள்.
And they will say,"Our Lord, indeed we obeyed our masters and our dignitaries, and they led us astray from the[right] way.
