The PRESIDENT: The Assembly has before it three draft resolutions recommended by the Special Political andDecolonization Committee in paragraph 28 of its report(A/48/656), two draft consensuses recommended by the Special Committee in paragraph 29 of the same report, and one draft decision recommended by the Committee in paragraph 30 of the same document.
At the same session, the General Assembly also adopted nine other resolutions, two consensuses and four decisions relating to specific Territories or other items on the agenda of the Special Committee, as well as a number of other resolutions relevant to the work of the Committee, by which the Assembly entrusted the Committee with specific tasks in relation to these Territories and items.
