Labour Law(Official Gazette of RoM, No. 43/03) contains a separate provision on prohibition of discrimination pursuant to which all employees are equal in relation to exercising their rights on the basis of work regardless of nationality, race, sex, language, religion,political or other conviction, education, social background, material status or any other personal trait.
There may be no privileges or restrictions on the grounds of race, colour, sex, political,religious or other conviction, ethnic or social origin, property, place of residence, or linguistic or other attributes;
The national legislation and the measures adopted with a view to the implementation of the Convention are based on the principle of the equal protection of the fundamental rights and freedoms of all persons in the territory of the Slovak Republic, regardless of sex, race, colour, language, faith and religion,political or other conviction, national or social origin, property, birth or any other status.

Directly or indirectly restricting a person's rights or granting a person direct or indirect preferences on the basis of his or her nationality, race, colour, sex, language, origin, religion,political or other conviction, financial or social status or other circumstances is punishable by a fine or detention.
The prohibition of all forms of discrimination is provided for in article 14 of the Constitution, whereby everyone is guaranteed equal human rights and fundamental freedoms, irrespective of national origin, race, sex, language, religion,political or other conviction, material standing, birth, education, social status or any other personal circumstance.
Article 14(Equality before the law) of the Constitution provides that in Slovenia everyone is guaranteed equal human rights and fundamental freedoms, irrespective of national origin, race, sex, language, religion,political or other conviction, material standing, birth, education, social status or any other personal circumstance.
The prohibition of discrimination is expressly provided for in article 3, which stipulates that"Fundamental human rights and freedoms are guaranteed to everybody, irrespective of sex, race, colour of skin, language, faith, religion,political or other conviction, ethnic or social origin, membership in a national or ethnic minority, property, birth, or other status.
The revocation or restriction of rights must be carried out in such a way that measures adopted do not cause any inequality that might be based on race, national affiliation, gender, language, religion,political or other conviction, material standing, birth, education, social standing or any other personal circumstance article 16, paragraph 1, of the Constitution.
In several cases, the Ministry of the Interior applied the procedure specified in Act No. 83/1990 Coll. on Association of Citizens, which allows the dissolution of an association whose aims include denying rights to citizens on the basis of their national origin, sex, race, origin,political or other conviction, religious faith and social status, incitement to hatred and intolerance and support of violence.
