During the following two years, the Commission and the General Assembly, in resolutions adopted by consensus, welcomed the fact that the Representative had made use of the Guiding Principles in his dialogues with Governments and intergovernmental andnongovernmental organizations and requested him to continue his efforts in that regard.
In subsequent resolutions, the Commission and the General Assembly(resolution 54/167) welcomed the fact that the Representative had made use of the Guiding Principles in his dialogue with Governments and intergovernmental andnon-governmental organizations and requested him to continue his efforts in that regard.
The Commission on Human Rights has welcomed the fact that the Representative has made use of the Guiding Principles in his dialogue with Governments and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations,in particular in the framework of the seminars on displacement held last year under the auspices of the OAU, and requested him to continue his efforts in this regard.
In subsequent years, both the Commission and the General Assembly, in resolutions adopted without a vote and co-sponsored by States from all regions of the world, have encouraged and welcomed the dissemination, promotion and application of the Guiding Principles, welcomed the Representative's use of them in his dialogues with Governments and intergovernmental andnon-governmental organizations, and requested him to continue his efforts in that regard.
In resolutions adopted without a vote, the Commission and the General Assembly have subsequently welcomed the fact that the Representative has made use of the Guiding Principles in his dialogue with Governments and intergovernmental andnon-governmental organizations and have requested him to continue his efforts in that regard.
Expresses its gratitude to the Secretary-General for the efforts he has made and requests him to continue his endeavours to promote national concord in Somalia and to submit a report to the Council at its next session.
He recalled that the General Assembly had entrusted the Secretary-General with a mandate of good offices and had requested him to continue his efforts to bring the parties together, thus assisting them in complying with the requests made by the General Assembly and the Special Committee on decolonization in their resolutions on the question of the Malvinas Islands.

IV. To appreciate the efforts of the Secretary-General and request him to continue his efforts with the Government of the Sudan, the Sudanese parties and regional and international bodies in support of peace and reconciliation in the Sudan and to submit a report on this to the next ordinary session of the Council.
