Ambassador Rolf Ekéus, Executive Chairman of the Special Commission, visited Baghdad between 15 and 19 July 1993.
The inspection team carried out this action in compliance with a written order from the Executive Chairman of the Special Commission, Rolf Ekéus.
With regard to the incidents referred to in the letter dated 12 June 1997 from Mr. Rolf Ekéus addressed to the President of the Security Council, I would like to point out the following.
