That means we are moving forward and step by step we can continue to work on the decommissioning of the ChNPP from the operation andtransformation of the«Shelter» object into an ecologically safe system, radioactive waste management, exchange of experience with international experts, biodiversity conservation, informing about modern radiation state and radiation safety, as well as the effective use of the Exclusion zone territory.
Obtaining the certificate has become the culmination of many years of hard work of Ukraine andthe international community to implement the project of transforming the Shelter into an environmentally safe system, which became possible only through support of more than 40 contributing countries and donors of the Chornobyl Shelter Fund.
