Allah took Abraham for a close friend.
We say with belief, acceptance,submission that Allah took Abraham as an intimate friend and that He spoke directly to Moses.
Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying:" I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help.".
We say with belief,acceptance and submission that Allah took Ibrahim as an intimate friend and that He spoke directly to Musa.
Behold! Allah took the covenant of theprophets, saying:"I give you a Book and Wisdom;
And whose way of life could be better than that of he who submits his whole being to Allah,  does good, andfollows exclusively the way of Abraham whom Allah took for a friend?
Certainly Allah took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We raised among them twelve chiefs.
And who can be better in religion than he who submitteth his countenance unto Allah,  and sincere, andfolloweth the faith of Ibrahim, the upright And Allah took Ibrahim for a friend.
And when Allah took the covenant of the Prophets:' That I have given you of the Book and Wisdom.
And who has a better religion than he who submits himself entirely to Allah?  And he is the doer of good( to others) andfollows the faith of Ibrahim, the upright one, and Allah took Ibrahim as a friend.
And remember Allah took a Covenant from thePeople of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and notto hide it;!
Abbas' son reported that when the Prophet came out he overheard their conversation,one of whom was saying,"How remarkable, Allah took Abraham from His creation as His close friend," Another said,"It is even more remarkable that He spoke to Moses!"!
And assuredly Allah took a bond from the Children of Isra'il, and We raised from amongst them twelve wardens.
When Allah took a covenant with those to whom the Book was given,( saying):' You shall make it clear to the people, and not conceal it.' But they threw it behind their backs and they bought with it a little price.
And[ recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets,[ saying]," Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you[ must] believe in him and support him.".
And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain!
And recall when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Book:' You shall explain it to men and not hide it. Then they cast the Book behind their backs, and sold it away for a trivial gain.
And recall when Allah took a covenant from the Prophets:' This is the Book and the Wisdom which I have given you. But should a Prophet come to you confirming that which is already with you, you shall believe in him and shall help him.
And recall what time Allah took a bond from those who were vouchsafed the Book: ye shall surely expound it to the people and ye shall hide it not; whereafter they cast it behind their backs, and bartered it for a small price.
And[ mention, O Muhammad], when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture,[ saying]," You must make it clear to the people and not conceal it." But they threw it away behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price.
Al Imran-187: And Allah took a covenant from those who had been given the Book, saying:“You shall certainly make it known to the people and you shall not hide it”; but they cast it(the covenant) behind their backs and sold it for a small price;
And( remember) when Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying:" Take  whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah( understanding of the Laws of Allah,  etc.), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger( Muhammad SAW) confirming what is with you; you must, then.
And remember when Allah took a covenant from the People given the Book( s) that,“ You shall definitely preach it to the people and not hide it”; so they flung it behind their backs and gained an abject price for it; so what a wretched bargain it is!
( And remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture( Jews and Christians) to make it( the news of the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the religious knowledge) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain!
And recall what time Allah took a bond from the prophets saying whatever I vouchsafed unto you of Book and Wisdom, end, thereafter there cometh unto you an apostle confessing to that which is with you, ye shall surely believe in him and succour him.
When Allah took a compact concerning the prophets,[ He said,] Inasmuch‘ as I have given you[ the knowledge] of the Book and wisdom, should an apostle come to you thereafter confirming what is with you, you shall believe in him and help him.' He said,‘ Do you pledge and accept My covenant on this condition?'.
And remember when Allah took a covenant from the Prophets;“ If I give you the Book and knowledge and the( promised) Noble Messenger( Prophet Mohammed peace and- blessings be upon him) comes to you, confirming the Books you possess, you shall positively, definitely believe in him and you shall positively, definitely help him”; He said,“ Do you agree, and accept My binding responsibility in this matter?”.
Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those who have not died, in their sleep.

Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes Satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffereda loss that is manifest.
