Consistent application of this Regulation.
The Board shall ensure the consistent application of this Regulation.
The EDPS and national supervisory authorities should closely cooperate with each other on specific issues requiring national involvement andshould ensure the consistent application of this Regulation throughout the Union.

(c) provide Commission contributions and feedback to any guidance on the concept of overriding reasons of public interest and recommendations,as well as best practices in order to encourage consistent application of this Regulation;
Each supervisory authority shall contribute to the consistent application of this Regulation throughout the Union.
(106a) In order to ensure the consistent application of this Regulation, the European Data Protection Board may in individual cases adopt a decision which is binding on the competent supervisory authorities.

In order to ensure the correct and consistent application of this Regulation in individual cases, the Board shall.
In particular, the Large-Scale Pilot STORK and ISO 29115 refer, inter alia, to levels 2, 3 and 4, which should be taken into utmost account in establishing minimum technical requirements, standards and procedures for the assurances levels low, substantial and high within the meaning of this Regulation, while ensuring consistent application of this Regulation in particular with regard to assurance level high related to identity proofing for issuing qualified certificates.
(139) In order to promote the consistent application of this Regulation, the Board should be set up as an independent body of the Union.
In order to ensure the correct and consistent application of this Regulation in individual cases, the Board shall adopt a binding decision in the following cases.

Section 2 Consistency Article 63 Consistency mechanism In order to contribute to the consistent application of this Regulation throughout the Union, the supervisory authorities shall cooperate with each other and, where relevant, with the Commission, through the consistency mechanism as set out in this Section.

By 30 August 2016, in order to contribute to the consistent application of this Regulation, BEREC shall, after consulting stakeholders and in close cooperation with the Commission, issue guidelines for the implementation of the obligations of national regulatory authorities under this Article.
The Data Protection Board should contribute to the consistent application of this Regulation throughout the Union, including providing advice to the Commission, particularly on the level of protection in third countries or international organizations, and promoting cooperation among supervisory authorities across the Union.
