The provisions of Directive 89/391/EEC are fully applicable to the matters referred to in paragraph 2,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive.

Without prejudice to specific provisions contained in multiannual plans, a fishing vessel of 12 metres' length overall or more shall have installed on board a fully functioning device which allows that vessel to be automatically located and identified through the vessel monitoring system by transmitting position data at regular intervals.
The provisions of this Directive shall apply in full to all the areas covered by the individual Directives,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in these individual Directives.'.
Without prejudice to specific provisions contained in multiannual plans, the master or his representative of a Community fishing vessel exceeding 10 meters length overall shall transmit landing declaration data by electronic means to the competent authorities of the flag Member State within 2 hours after completion of the landing.

Whereas the provisions of the latter are therefore fully applicable to the workplace without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in the present Directive;
For carcinogens at work the provisions of this Directive shall apply without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in Council Directive 90/394/EEC of 28 June 1990 on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens(sixth individual Directive within the meaning of Article 16(1) of Directive 89/391/EEC)(15).
Whereas, therefore, the provisions thereof are fully applicable to work on board fishing vessels,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Without prejudice to specific provisions contained in multiannual plans, masters of Community fishing vessels or their representatives shall notify the competent authorities of the Member State whose port or landing facilities they wish to use at least 4 hours before the estimated time of arrival at the port, unless the competent authorities have given permission for an earlier entry, of the following information.
The provisions of that Directive are therefore fully applicable to the exposure of workers to biological agents,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive.
Without prejudice to specific provisions contained in multiannual plans, masters of Community fishing vessels or their representatives having species on board which are subject to catch or effort limits shall notify the competent authorities of the Member State whose port or landing facilities they wish to use at least 4 hours before the estimated time of arrival at the port, unless the competent authorities have given permission for an earlier entry, of the following information.
The provisions of that Directive are therefore fully applicable to the exposure of workers to biological agents,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive.
(3) The provisions of Council Directive 89/391/EEC of 12 June 1989 on the introduction of measures to encourage improvements in the safety and health of workers at work(4)remain fully applicable to the areas covered by this Directive without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained herein.
Whereas therefore the provisions of that Directive are fully applicable to the exposure of workers to carcinogens,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Wheres the provisions of Directive 89/391/EEC therefore apply in full to the provision of safety and health signs at work,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Whereas, therefore, the provisions of the said Directive are fully applicable to temporary or mobile construction sites,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Whereas, therefore, the provisions of the said Directive apply in full to the mineral-extracting industries through drilling without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Whereas the provisions of the latter are therefore fully applicable to the use by workers of display screen equipment,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in the present Directive;
(9) Whereas therefore the provisions of the said Directive apply in full to the exposure of workers to chemical agents,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Whereas, therefore, the provisions of the said Directive are fully applicable to the scope of the use of work equipment by workers at work without prejudice to more restrictive and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
Whereas, consequently, the provisions of the said Directive apply fully to the use by workers of personal protective equipment at the workplace,without prejudice to more stringent and/or specific provisions contained in this Directive;
