SCS is a hierarchical cable system mounted in a building or group of buildings,which consists of structural subsystems.
Where all the structural subsystems of a vehicle have been authorised in conformity with the provisions of Chapter IV, the authorisation shall be granted without further checks;
Each Member State shall authorise the putting into service of those structural subsystems constituting the rail system which are located or operated in its territory.
Authorising the bringing into service of the structural subsystems constituting the trans-European conventional rail system, in accordance with Article 14 of Directive 2001/16/EC and checking that they are operated and maintained in accordance with the relevant essential requirements;
Without prejudice to Chapter V, each Member State shall authorise the placing in service of those structural subsystems constituting the rail system which are located or operated in its territory.
Authorising the bringing into service of the structural subsystems constituting the trans-European high-speed rail system in accordance with Article 14 of Directive 96/48/EC and checking that they are operated and maintained in accordance with the relevant essential requirements;(b).
Without prejudice to the provisions of Chapter IV-B, each Member State shall authorise the putting into service of those structural subsystems constituting the rail system which are located or operated in its territory.
The rules andprocedures enabling coherent operation of new and different structural subsystems intended to be used in the European Union rail system, and in particular those that are linked directly to the operation of a new control and signalling system, must be identical where identical situations exist.
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 19, Member States may not, in their territory and on grounds concerning this Directive, prohibit, restrict or hinder the construction,putting into service and operating of structural subsystems constituting the rail system which meet the essential requirements.
Each Member State shall authorize the placing in service of those structural subsystems constituting the trans-European high-speed rail system which are located in its territory or operated by railway undertakings established there.
Without prejudice to the provisions of Article 19, Member States may not, in their territory and on grounds concerning this Directive, prohibit, restrict orhinder the construction, putting into service and operating of structural subsystems constituting the rail system which meet the essential requirements.
The procedures and related equipment enabling a coherent operation of the different structural subsystems, both during normal and degraded operation, including in particular training and train driving, traffic planning and management.
In addition to serious accidents, may carry out investigations on accidents and incidents which under slightly different circumstances, could lead to serious accidents,including technical failures at the level of the structural subsystems or high-speed rail or conventional system interoperability constituents.
As far as they are notyet covered by TSIs, methods to check that the structural subsystems of the trans-European high-speed and conventional rail systems are operated and maintained in accordance with the relevant essential requirements.
Without prejudice to Article 19, Member States may not, in their territory and on grounds of this Directive, prohibit, restrict orhinder the construction, placing in service and operation of structural subsystems constituting the trans-European high-speed rail system which satisfy the essential requirements.
The rules andprocedures enabling coherent operation of new and different structural subsystems intended to be used in the European Union rail system, and in particular those that are linked directly to the operation of a new control and signalling system, must be identical where identical situations exist.
Member States shall consider as being interoperable andmeeting the essential requirements concerning them, those structural subsystems constituting the rail system which are covered by the'EC' declaration of verification.
The rules andprocedures enabling coherent operation of new and different structural subsystems intended to be used in the European Union rail system, and in particular those that are linked directly to the operation of a new control and signalling system, must be identical where identical situations exist.
The subsystem Operation and Traffic Management specifies the procedures andrelated equipment enabling a coherent operation of the different structural subsystems, both during normal and degraded operation, including in particular train driving, traffic planning and management.
The Agency andthe national safety authorities shall consider as meeting the essential requirements, those structural subsystems constituting the rail system which are covered, as appropriate, by the‘EC' declaration of verification established by reference to TSIs, in accordance with Article 15, or the declaration of verification established by reference to national rules in accordance with Article 15(8), or both.
The procedures and related equipment enabling a coherent operation of the different structural subsystems, both during normal and degraded operation, including in particular training and train driving, traffic planning and management.
Operation and traffic management procedures andrelated equipment to ensure the operation of the different structural subsystems, both during normal as when operating degraded, including in particular the composition and the conduct of trains, planning and traffic management.
The infrastructure structural subsystem also includes.
The infrastructure structural subsystem of the trans-European high-speed rail system includes the tracks and switches and crossings of the high-speed lines within the scope set out in Chapter 1.
Where a Member State finds that a structural subsystem covered by the‘EC' declaration of verification accompanied by the technical file does not fully comply with this Directive and, in particular, does not meet the essential requirements, it may request that additional checks be carried out.
Where a Member State finds that a structural subsystem covered by the‘EC' declaration of verification accompanied by the technical file does not fully comply with this Directive and in particular does not meet the essential requirements, it may request that additional checks be carried out.
This TSI also includes the rolling stock subsystem as defined in Annex II Section 2.6 of Directive 2008/57/EC and the related parts of the energy subsystem(‘onboard part of the electric consumptions measuring equipment' as defined in Annex II Section 2.2 of Directive 2008/57/EC)which corresponds to the onboard part of the energy structural subsystem.
These subsystems are structural and functional;
A vehicle is composed of one or more structural and functional subsystems;
(1) In accordance with Article 2(c) of Directive 96/48/EC,the trans-European high-speed rail system is subdivided into structural or functional subsystems.
