And the thunder declares His glory with His praise, and the angels too for awe of Him; and He sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom He pleases, yet they dispute concerning Allah, and He is mighty in prowess.
雷はかれを譲えて唱念し，また天使たちもかれを畏れて唱念する。かれは雷鳴を送られ，かれらがアッラーに就いて論争している間に，これでかれの御好みの者を撃たれる。かれは力ある強烈な方である。

And his people argued with him; he said,“What! You dispute with me concerning Allah? So He has guided me; and I do not have any fear of whatever you ascribe as partners, except what my Lord wills(to happen); my Lord's knowledge encompasses all things; so will you not accept advice?”.
だがかれの人びとは，反論した。かれは言った。「あなたがたはアッラーに就いて，わたしと論議するのか。かれは確かにわたしを御導き下された。わたしはあなたがたが，かれと並べて崇めるものを，少しも畏れない。わたしの主が御望みにならない限りは（何事も起こり得ない）。わたしの主は凡てを，御知識の中に包含なされる。あなたがたは留意しないのか。

And the thunder proclaims His purity with praise, and the angels out of fear of Him; and He sends the bolt of lightning- it therefore strikes upon whom He wills, whilst they are disputing concerning Allah; and severe is His seizure.
雷はかれを譲えて唱念し，また天使たちもかれを畏れて唱念する。かれは雷鳴を送られ，かれらがアッラーに就いて論争している間に，これでかれの御好みの者を撃たれる。かれは力ある強烈な方である。

His people argued with him. He said,‘Do you argue with me concerning Allah, while He has guided me for certain? I do not fear what you ascribe to Him as[His] partners, excepting anything that my Lord may wish. My Lord embraces all things in[His] knowledge. Will you not then take admonition?
だがかれの人びとは，反論した。かれは言った。「あなたがたはアッラーに就いて，わたしと論議するのか。かれは確かにわたしを御導き下された。わたしはあなたがたが，かれと並べて崇めるものを，少しも畏れない。わたしの主が御望みにならない限りは（何事も起こり得ない）。わたしの主は凡てを，御知識の中に包含なされる。あなたがたは留意しないのか。

Say: Have ye considered what provision Allah hath sent down for you, how ye have made of it lawful and unlawful? Hath Allah permitted you, or do ye invent a lie concerning Allah?
言ってやるがいい。「アッラーが，御恵みとしてあなたがたに下されたものを考えてみなさい。何故あなたがたはその（一部を）非合法とし，また（一部を）合法としたのか。」言ってやるがいい。「アッラーがあなたがたに許されたのか，それともあなたがたがアッラーに就いて捏造したのか。」。

And when they do some lewdness they say: We found our fathers doing it and Allah hath enjoined it on us. Say: Allah, verily, enjoineth not lewdness. Tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?

And lo! there is a party of them who distort the Scripture with their tongues, that ye may think that what they say is from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say: It is from Allah, when it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie concerning Allah knowingly.
かれらの中には，自分の舌で啓典をゆがめ，啓典にないことを啓典の一部であるかのように，あなたがたに思わせようとする一派がある。またかれらは，アッラーの御許からではないものを，「それはアッラーから来たものだ。」と言う。かれらは故意にアッラーに就いて虚偽を語る者である。

Do you not see that Allah has disposed for you whatever there is in the heavens and whatever there is in the earth and He has showered upon you His blessings, the outward, and the inward? Yet among the people are those who dispute concerning Allah without any knowledge or guidance or an illuminating scripture.
あなたがたは思い起さないのか。アッラーは天にあり地にある凡てのものを，あなたがたの用のために供させ，また外面と内面の恩恵を果されたではないか。だが人びとの中には，知識も導きもなく，また光明の啓典もなく，アッラーに就いて論議する者がある。

And they say: The Fire(of punishment) will not touch us save for a certain number of days. Say: Have ye received a covenant from Allah- truly Allah will not break His covenant- or tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?
そしてかれらは，「業火がわたしたちに触れるのは，何日かの間に過ぎないであろう。」と言う。言ってやるがいい。「あなたがたは，アッラーと約束を結んだと言うのか。それならアッラーは決して破約されないであろう。それともあなたがたは，アッラーに就いて知りもしないことをロにしようとするのか。」。

And they said,“The fire will not touch us except for a certain number of days”; say,“Have you taken a covenant from Allah- then Allah will certainly not break His covenant- or do you say something concerning Allah what you do not know?”.

Say,“My Lord has forbidden the indecencies, the apparent among them and the hidden, and sin and wrongful excesses, and forbidden that you ascribe partners with Allah for which He has not sent down any proof, and forbidden that you say things concerning Allah of which you do not have knowledge.”.
言ってやるがいい。「本当にわたしの主が禁じられたことは，あからさまな，また隠れた淫らな行いや罪，真理や道義に外れた迫害，またアッラーが何の権威をも授けられないものを崇拝すること。またアッラーに就いて，あなたがたが知らないことを語ることである。」。

And of the camels twain and of the oxen twain. Say: Hath He forbidden the two males or the two females, or that which the wombs of the two females contain; or were ye by to witness when Allah commanded you(all) this? Then who doth greater wrong than he who deviseth a lie concerning Allah, that he may lead mankind astray without knowledge. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.
また，ラクダ2対と牛2対。言ってやるがいい。「かれは，2雄または2雌，と2雌の胎内にあるもののどれを，禁じられたのか。アッラーがこれをあなたがたに命じられる時，あなたがたはその場にいたのか。知識もなく人を迷わせるために，アッラーに就いて虚偽を捏造するより，甚たしい不義があろうか。誠にアッラーは，不義を行う民を導かれない。」。
