Of course, we are not pleased by samsaric pain, but we enjoy samsaric pleasures enough to remain attached to our human condition.

Then you are able to do perfect work for sentient beings,freeing them from the oceans of samsaric suffering and bringing them to full enlightenment.
Of course favorable rebirth and other desirable aspects of samsaric life along with their causes for these positive attainments are virtuous but these should not be our ultimate aspiration as Dharma practitioners.
Lama Atisha gave teachings to numberless sentient beings,liberating them from the oceans of samsaric suffering and bringing them to enlightenment.
Then we go further and we think about this whole samsaric situation- all our experience going up and down and up and down, life after life, more and more problems, and we get completely bored with that and disgusted with that and say,"Enough.".
The more we learn about karma, I think the more helpful that is in overcoming being under the control of karma,so that we not only get liberated ourselves from samsaric suffering, but we're in a better position to be able to help everybody else as well.
It's not that either of these two states of ourselves, samsaric or enlightened, are like self-encapsulated ping-pong balls- one ping-pong ball being the poor, limited“me” that can't possibly help anybody or that can only help them in a very trivial way, and the other ping-pong ball being this enlightenment that's up in the sky and impossible to reach.
However, from the Dharma point of view, the feelings that we identify aspleasure are considered to be merely samsaric pleasure- as certain heavy temporal sufferings decrease, just that decrease itself is labeled pleasure.
This isn't just about helping them find a job or something nice to eat- we're talking about the all-pervasive suffering of uncontrollably recurring rebirth(samsara), and the most fundamental unawareness and confusion about reality that generates andperpetuates samsaric existence.
And not just in this life- since beginningless time,we have been experiencing one temporal, samsaric pleasure after another, chasing experiences that are not true pleasure and always change and finish, and we're still not satisfied.
Once we have made that first dent, we will be able to inflictfar more serious damage on the fabric of our samsaric life, and however small the dents and cracks might be, they're exactly the result a dedicated practitioner is looking for.
