I will also ask whether Mrs Nielsen has the agreement of the Danish people in this campaign of hers.
TOMLINSON(S).- Mr President,can I first of all offer my congratulations to Mrs Nielsen, Mrs Theato and to the other rapporteurs.
I would agree with Mrs Nielsen that this applies in particular to small and mediumsized undertakings.

Mrs Nielsen(L).-(DA) We in the Liberal Group are agreed that life's responsibilities are discharged best if the women are involved in work on an equal footing with the men.
Mr Vandemeulebroucke(CDI).-(NL) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen,I have no intention of regarding Mrs Nielsen's report as a kind of repetition of all that was said in Brussels.
President.- Mrs Nielsen, I cannot deal with pedagogical questions but I regard Mr Bonde's question as a rhetorical question which by its very nature does not call for an answer.
PAPANDREOU, member of the Commission.-(GR) Mr President, I would like to thank Parliament andespecially the rapporteur, Mrs Nielsen, for her comments and for the amendments proposed during the first reading.
The report presented by Mrs Nielsen to the European Parliament(16 May) and the resolution it adopted are concerned with two Commission texts communication and draft resolution.
In conclusion I must express my warm thanks to all those involved in this discharge procedure for the work they have done,primarily the general rapporteur, Mrs Nielsen, but the other rapporteurs too,Mrs Simon, Mrs Theato and Mr Kellett-Bowman, and I ask the House to grant the Commission discharge for the 1991 budget.
