BONDE(ARC).-(DA)- Madam President, the June Movement is voting against the proposal for new Rules of Procedure, because in practice it will lead to a two-party system, where all the smaller parties, group ings and individuals will be excluded from the legislative process.
I regret that the new rules of procedure have not been examined by a higher legal authority in order to make sure that they are in accordance with hierarchically superior documents, in particular, the treaties and the constitutions of the Member States.
The June Movement is therefore voting against the new Rules of Procedure, and we call upon the Member States to protest against Parliament's attempt to transform the national parliaments into a kind of junior branch of local government.
