Ms. Frost(Canada):I would first like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Hellgren, the representative of Sweden, for his kind remarks.
Magnus Hellgren and I co-chaired the informal meetings, which were indeed very helpful and fruitful.
Ms. Štiglic(Slovenia): Let me begin by saying that Sloveniafully aligns itself with the statement delivered by Ambassador Hellgren of Sweden on behalf of the European Union.

Lastly, I should like totake a minute to extend a few words of farewell to Ambassador Magnus Hellgren, to thank him for his congeniality and friendship and to pay a tribute to his professionalism and dedication.
Mr. Hellgren(Sweden): I am making a general statement on behalf of the European Union(EU) in relation to draft resolution A/C.1/64/L.38/Rev.1, entitled" The arms trade treaty".
