The meeting was preceded by an intense round of meetings and consultations to prepare the Palestinian Public Investment Programme for 1997,in which the donor coordination mechanisms on the ground- sector working groups, the Local Aid Coordination Committee and the Joint Liaison Committee- coordinated in defining policies and setting priorities.
