The provisions of this Code apply to anyone present in the State after having committed abroad, whether as principal or accessory, any crime of trafficking in drugs or in persons or any international crime of piracy or terrorism.".

In circumstances other than those specified in articles 9, 10 and 11, the provisions of this Code are applicable to any person who enters Iraq after committing abroad, in the capacity of principal or accomplice, any of the following offences.

The political or administrative civilian authority and defence and security forces personnel shall be held individually responsible for any instruction, order, action or omission that violates human rights, international humanitarian law, national laws and regulations in force or the provisions of this Code of Conduct.

Where there is an employment relationship between an employer and a juvenile who, under the provisions of this Code, is not permitted to work, the employer shall be obligated to pay the juvenile the agreed wage and to compensate him or her if he or she has an accident during or as a result of work, regardless of who was at fault.

Art. 4. The provisions of this Code are based in particular on the principles of family unity, the equality of rights of men and women, the equality of rights of children, and the comprehensive protection of children, other persons lacking legal competence, the elderly, and mothers bearing sole responsibility for the household.".

The 1991 Code of Criminal Procedure also sets forth relevant provisions and procedures. Article 3, paragraph 1, provides that" the provisions of this Code shall be applicable to the proceedings of criminal cases, investigations, arrests, trials and punishments relating to the crimes provided for in any other law".
كما جاءت النصوص والإجراءات في قانون الإجراءات الجنائية لسنة 1991 كما هو معلوم في المادة(3) الفقرة(1) أيضا منه تطبيق أحكام هذا القانون على إجراءات الدعوى الجنائية والتحري والضبط والمحاكمة والجزاء المتعلقة بالجرائم المنصوص عليها من أي قانون آخر

The provisions of this Code shall apply to any national or alien who commits outside the State of Bahrain any act that makes him a perpetrator of or accessory to an offence prejudicial to the external or internal security of the State, as specified in part II, chapter 1, sections 1 and 2, or the offence of forging State seals and emblems or counterfeiting currency and monetary instruments, as specified in articles 257, 262 and 263.
تسري أحكام هذا القانون على كل مواطن أو أجنبي ارتكب خارج دولة البحرين عملا يجعله فاعلا أو شريك في جناية من الجنايات الماسة بأمن الدولة الخارجي أو الداخلي المنصوص عليها في الفصلين الأول والثاني من الباب الأول من القسم الثاني أو في جناية تقليد الأختام أو العلامات العامة أو تزييف العملة وأوراق النقد المنصوص عليها في المواد 257 و 262 و 263

According to article 21 of the Code:" A penalty of up to 10 years ' imprisonment or sanctions commensurate with the results of the crime shall be inflicted on any person subject to the provisions of this Code who, in time of war, commits an act that causes damage to persons or property entitled to protection under the terms of international agreements to which the Republic of Yemen is a party.
كما تنص المادة 21 على أنه:" يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على عشر سنوات أو بجزاء يتناسب مع نتائج الجريمة كل شخص خاضع لأحكام هذا القانون ارتكب أثناء الحرب أي فعل من الأفعال التي تُلحق ضرراً بالأشخاص والممتلكات المحمية بمقتضى الاتفاقيات الدولية التي تكون الجمهورية اليمنية طرفاً فيها

Any person who publicly or otherwise incites or provokes another to disregard the provisions of this Code prohibiting harmful traditional practices, or organizes a movement to promote such end, or takes part in such a movement, or subscribes to its schemes, is punishable with simple imprisonment for not less than three months, or fine not less than five hundred Birr, or both.
كل شخص يحرض علناً أو بصورة أخرى شخصاً آخر على تجاهل أحكام هذا القانون الذي يحظر الممارسات التقليدية الضارة أو يحفزه على ذلك، أو ينظم حركة للترويج لهذه الغاية، أو يشارك في هذه الحركة، أو يسهم في مخططاتها، يُعاقبُ بالحبس لمدة لا تقل عن ثلاثة أشهر، أو بدفع غرامة لا تقل عن خمسمائة بر إثيوبي، أو بالعقوبتين معاً

Under the Penal Code, women and men are equal in regard to the death penalty and custodial penalties, as stipulated in the Koran. The provisions of this Code are applied, although a clear distinction is made between women and men in article 42 in connection with the blood money(diya) payable for women, which is half of that payable for men.

Disagreements shall be resolved by the Department of Labour, in accordance with the provisions of this Code, collective agreements and contracts, internal labour regulations, the nature of the work performed by the firm or, in the absence of these criteria, considerations of equity and common sense.

How to use "the provisions of this code" in a sentence

In the absence of such regulations, the provisions of this Code shall apply.
