SBP is a project that aims at improving the ability of donors,Governments and  practitioners to design and implement policies and programmes to  build sustainable financing institutions that are effective in reaching the GE.98- 10155(E).

The subprogramme will increase the capacity of Governments,civil society and  the private sector to design  and implement policies and programmes for socialand  economic development and  poverty reduction through a combination of normative-analytical and  capacity-development activities.
(a)(i) Increased number of countries and  regionaleconomic communities using ECA policy measures and  tools to design and implement policies and programmes on infrastructure, regional value chains, food security and  agriculture in support of structural transformation and  sustainable development.
