If that happens, which I hope it will,I think all the credit will have to go to the Commissioner and Doris Pack for their enlightened approach.
I would like to say that I see the report of Doris Pack, and the numerous initiatives that have been mentioned here, as a complement or an addition to what the Commission itself suggested. This philosophy is therefore very valuable and welcome.
I read with great interest the report of Anna Ibrisagicon future stability and prosperity in the Balkans and the draft resolution on Bosnia Herzegovina drawn up by Doris Pack.
As I see it, the crucial issue in this countryis that unfortunately- and here I would echo what Doris Pack has said- the nationalists often still seem to be setting the agenda.
SK First of all, please allow me to thank Mrs Doris Pack for all the energy she put into the preparation of this report. I would also like to thank the representatives of the European Commission for the initiatives that lead to the improvement of the existing situation.
Finally, I am very happy to see Parliament's enthusiasm- and,in particular, that of my good friend Doris Pack- for the European capitals of culture and Sarajevo's interest in holding the title.

Switzerland will come even closer to the European Union, andthe EU will understand Switzerland better; as our colleague Doris Pack mentioned, we will be able to anticipate better results in referenda.
