Lessons Learned from the Implementation of Return Programmes.
Information on these national return programmes shall, in particular, include the following information.
Common integrated country and region specific return programmes;
This was based on the premise that return programmes should not be restricted only to persons for whom a durable solution has not been found.
The EU should develop its own approach for integrated return programmes.
Integrated country-specific return programmes should be designed to ensure effective, timely and- above all- sustainable return. .
Development and implementation of voluntary return programmes;
Assisted voluntary return programmes were consolidated or extended to cater for aid to more third-country nationals.
If the PV modules are new, some manufacturers offer voluntary return programmes.

In Hungary the Fund has significantly contributed to the implementation of assisted voluntary return programmes and to improving detention conditions and the quality of forced removal operations by air.
As regards repatriation, the action may concern in particular information andadvice about voluntary return programmes and the situation in the country of origin and/or general or vocational training and help in resettlement.
In November 2002, as requested by the Seville European Council, the Council adopted a returns programme on the basis of the Commission Green Paper and a programme for the return of refugees to Afghanistan.
