Setup Data Manager.
There are two types of sync that are used in the Kantech Data Manager.
The Data Manager.
From the XPressEntry side, this is done by a module called Data Manager.
Personal Data Manager.
On the Data Manager tab of the Settings form, select“Save and Apply Settings”.
This will return you to the Data Manager tab on the settings page.
The Data Manager Tab allows you to set up synchronization between S2 and XPressEntry.
You may know your system well, but does your data managers know them too?
The Data Manager Synchronizer.
XPressEntry will synchronize activities toSymmetry if that option has been set by Data Manager.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- This setting is not used with this integration.
XPressEntry will synchronize activities to DNAFusion if that option has been set by Data Manager.
When setting up a Data Manager, it is important to set“Log Level” to“SQL”(top left Figure 7).
This can be run manually from the Settings page-> Data Manager tab by pressing“Update Tables”.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- This option allows you to pull activities from Symmetry.
Forget about using existing systems that has multiple features that just confuses you or your data managers.
Sync XPressEntry Activites to Data Manager- This option allows XPressEntry to push handheld activities to S2.
Save and Apply Settings-Select“Save and Apply Settings” every time a Kantech Data Manager setting is changed.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- This option allows XPressEntry to listen for transactions in Velocity.
When you are done with this step,press OK to send the setup information back to XPressEntry Data Manager.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- This option allows XPressEntry to pull transaction data that occurs in S2.
Sync XPressEntry Activities to Data Manager- If you want the activities from the XPressEntry Handhelds to show up in CCURE, you should check this option.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- If you plan on tracking user occupancies for Mustering on the handhelds, you should check this option.
Sync XPressEntry Activites to Data Manager- This option allows XPressEntry to push handheld activities to Velocity in the form of Integrated Events.
Sync Data Manager Activities with XPressEntry- If XPressEntry is being used for emergency evacuations, or XPressEntry is used to monitor occupancy, this setting should be checked.
Sync XPressEntry Activities to Data Manager- If you want the activities from the XPressEntry Handhelds to show up in DNA Fusion, you should check this option.
