Sampling and analysis methods.
A reference to the sampling and analysis methods to be used.

Whereas Directive 70/373/EEC requires official controls on feedingstuffs for the purpose of checking compliance with requirements arising under quality and composition provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action,to be carried out using Community sampling and analysis methods;

Whereas Directive 70/373/EEC stipulates that official controls of feedingstuffs for the purpose of checking compliance with the requirements arising under the laws, regulations and administrative provisions governing their quality and composition must be carried out using Community sampling and analysis methods;
Article 16 Committee Any amendments necessary for adapting the Annexes to this Directive to scientific and technical progress and any measures for amending the standardisation of control, sampling and analysis methods in relation to the landfill of waste shall be adopted by the Commission, assisted by the Committee established by Article 18 of Directive 2006/12/ EC.
Commission Regulation(EC) No 466/2001 of 8 March 2001 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs(3), as last amended by Regulation(EC) No 242/2004(4) fixes maximum limits for inorganic tin in canned foodstuffs and makes reference to measures laying down the sampling and analysis methods to be used.
Any amendments necessary for adapting the Annexes to this Directive to scientific and technical progress and any proposals for the standardisation of control, sampling and analysis methods in relation to the landfill of waste shall be adopted by the Commission, assisted by the Committee established by Article 18 of Directive 75/442/EEC and in accordance with the procedure set out in Article 17 of this Directive.
Commission Directive 2001/22/EC of 8 March 2001 laying down the sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs(2) establishes and harmonises the technical measures for the sampling and analysis methods to be used for the monitoring of the concerned contaminants.
Compliance with this Regulation in respect of conformity to types of fertiliser and compliance with the declared nutrient content and/or the declared content expressed as forms and solubilities of such nutrients may be verified at official inspections only by means of sampling and analysis methods established in accordance with Annex IIIand IV and taking into account the tolerances specified in Annex II.
