THE COMMISSION'S REPLIES(f) The Commission is continuously working to further improve its system andwill pay specific attention to the issue of the detail of supporting documentation on programme estimates.(g) EuropeAid adopted a standardised methodology for these missions in March 2008 and the number of monitoring missions is planned to be increased.
As regards individual financial commitments, the types of errors found were as follows: derogation to the rule of carrying out open tendering without appropriate prior authorisation; contracts signed after the deadline set out in the financial agreement ornot duly signed; programme estimates with imprecise eligibility criteria.
