Examples of using Allah in English and their translations into Urdu

Allah has enjoined:"You shall not take to yourselves two gods;43 for He is the only One God: so fear Me.".
اور اللہ نے فرمادیا دو خدا نہ ٹھہراؤ(ف۱۰۵) وہ تو ایک ہی معبود ہے تو مجھ ہی سے ڈرو، ف۱۰۶

Ponder then they not on the Qur'an? Were it from other than Allah they would surely find therein many a contradiction.
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے

Say:'Would you inform Allah of something about which He does not know either in the heavens or on the earth?'.
تُو کہہ، تم اﷲ کو جتاتے ہو جو اس کو معلوم نہیں کہیں آسمانوں میں نہ زمین میں

Do they not consider the Qur'an with care?- Had it been from anyone besides Allah, there would have been many contradictions.'.
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے‘

Allah has made the fasting of this month an obligation and Allah has made also staying up during the night a voluntary act.
اللہ تعالٰی نے اس ماہ کے روزے کو فرض اور اس رات میں قیام کو ثواب کی چیز بنایا

Whoever reads Surah Yaseen for the pleasure of Allah, his past sins will be forgiven so read this near your deceased.
جو شخص اللہ تعالٰی کی رضا کیلئے سورہ یٰس پڑھے گا۔ اس کے اگلے گناہوں کی مغفرت ہو جائے گی۔ لٰہذا اس کو اپنے مُردوں کے پاس پڑھا کرو۔(مشکوٰۃ ج1 ص189

Allah had already given you the victory at Badr, when ye were contemptible. So observe your duty to Allah in order that ye may be thankful.
اور اللہ نے بدر میں تمہاری مدد کی ہے جب کہ تم کمزور تھے لہذا اللہ سے ڈرو شاید تم شکر گزار بن جاؤ

So do they not ponder about the Qur'an? And had it been from anyone besides Allah, they would certainly find much contradiction in it.
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے

These are they he whose hearts Allah has inscribed faith with His Own hand and whom He has helped with the Holy Spirit(58:23).
یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جن کے دلوں میں اللہ تعالٰی نے ایمان نقش فرما دیا اور اپنی طرف کی روحانیت سے ان کی مدد فرمائی‘

Do they not consider the Koran with care, If it had been from anyone other than Allah, it would contain many discrepancies(Koran 4:82).".
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے۔(82

The promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver(satan) deceive you about Allah.
اللہ تعالٰی کا وعدہ سچا ہے تمہیں زندگانی دنیا دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے اور نہ دھوکے باز شیطان تمہیں غفلت میں ڈالے

Then, when they sighted Our punishment, they said,‘We believe in Allah alone, and disavow what we used to take as His partners.'.
پھر جب انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب دیکھ لیا تو کہنے لگے کہ ہم خدائے واحد پر ایمان لائے اور جس چیز کو اس کے ساتھ شریک بناتے تھے اس سے نامعتقد ہوئے

It is by some mercy of Allah that thou art gentle to them; hadst thou been harsh and hard of heart, they would have scattered from about thee.
اللہ تعالٰی کی رحمت کے باعث آپ ان پر نرم دل ہیں اور اگر آپ بدزبان اور سخت دل ہوتے تو یہ سب آپ کے پاس سے چَھٹ جاتے

Will they not contemplate upon the Koran? If it had been from other than Allah, they would surely have found in it many contradictions.
کیا یہ لوگ قرآن میں غور نہیں کرتے؟ اگر یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی اور کی طرف سے ہوتا تو یقیناً اس میں بہت کچھ اختلاف پاتے

If Allah destroys me, and those with me, or He bestows His mercy on us-who can save the disbelievers from a painful torment?”.
اچھا اگر مجھے اور میرے ساتھیوں کو اللہ تعالٰی ہلاک کر دے یا ہم پر رحم کرے( بہر صورت یہ تو بتاؤ) کہ کافروں کو دردناک عذاب سے کون بچائے گا

Then when they behold Our prowess, they said: we believe in Allah alone, and we disbelieve in that which with Him we have been associating.
پھر جب انہوں نے ہمارا عذاب دیکھ لیا تو کہنے لگے کہ ہم خدائے واحد پر ایمان لائے اور جس چیز کو اس کے ساتھ شریک بناتے تھے اس سے نامعتقد ہوئے

Allah judgeth with truth, while those to whom they cry instead of Him judge not at all. Lo! Allah, He is the Hearer, the Seer.
اور اللہ سچا فیصلہ فرماتا ہے، اور اس کے سوا جن کو پوجتے ہیں وہ کچھ فیصلہ نہیں کرتے بیشک اللہ ہی سنتا اور دیکھتا ہے

Those who cover up(the Truth) about the Signs of Allah and the meeting with Him are those who have despaired of My Mercy, and theirs will be a painful punishment.
جو لوگ اللہ تعالٰی کی آیتوں اور اس کی ملاقات کو بھلاتے ہیں وہ میری رحمت سے نا امید ہوجائیں اور ان کے لئے دردناک عذاب ہے

Allah decreeth with truth, while those whom they call upon beside Him cannot decree aught; verily Allah! He is the Hearer, the Beholder!
اور اللہ سچا فیصلہ فرماتا ہے، اور اس کے سوا جن کو پوجتے ہیں وہ کچھ فیصلہ نہیں کرتے بیشک اللہ ہی سنتا اور دیکھتا ہے!

That will be because they followed that which angereth Allah, and hated that which pleaseth Him. Therefor He hath made their actions vain.
یہ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ انہوں نے اُس(رَوِش) کی پیروی کی جو اﷲ کو ناراض کرتی ہے اور انہوں نے اس کی رضا کو ناپسند کیا تو اس نے ان کے(جملہ) اعمال اکارت کر دیئے

This is because they followed the matter which displeases Allah, and they disliked what pleases Him- He therefore squandered away all their deeds.
یہ اس وجہ سے ہے کہ انہوں نے اُس(رَوِش) کی پیروی کی جو اﷲ کو ناراض کرتی ہے اور انہوں نے اس کی رضا کو ناپسند کیا تو اس نے ان کے(جملہ) اعمال اکارت کر دیئے

Allah decreeth with truth, while those whom they call upon beside Him cannot decree aught; verily Allah! He is the Hearer, the Beholder!
اور اللہ حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ فرماتا ہے، اور جن(بتوں) کو یہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا پوجتے ہیں وہ کچھ بھی فیصلہ نہیں کر سکتے، بے شک اللہ ہی سننے والا، دیکھنے والا ہے،!

Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to indecency and Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and graciousness, and Allah is Vast and Knowing.
شیطان تمہیں فقیری سے دھمکاتا ہے اور بے حیائی کا حکم دیتا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی تم سے اپنی بخشش اور فضل کا وعدہ کرتا ہے اللہ تعالٰی وسعت والا اور علم والا ہے

Allah decreeth with truth, while those whom they call upon beside Him cannot decree aught; verily Allah! He is the Hearer, the Beholder!
اور اللہ حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ کرے گا اور جنہیں وہ لوگ اللہ کے سوا پکارتے ہیں وہ کسی چیز کا فیصلہ نہیں کر سکتے۔ بیشک اللہ بڑا سننے والا(اور) بڑا دیکھنے والا ہے۔!

Satan threatens you with poverty and enjoins you to be niggardly, and Allah promises you forgiveness from Himself and abundance; and Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing.
شیطان تمہیں فقیری سے دھمکاتا ہے اور بے حیائی کا حکم دیتا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی تم سے اپنی بخشش اور فضل کا وعدہ کرتا ہے اللہ تعالٰی وسعت والا اور علم والا ہے

Allah sent back the unbelievers empty-handed, their hearts seething with rage. Allah sufficed the believers in their fight. Allah is Most Powerful, Most Mighty.
اور اللہ نے کافروں کو ان کے دلوں کی جلن کے ساتھ پلٹایا کہ کچھ بھلا نہ پایا اور اللہ نے مسلمانوں کو لڑائی کی کفایت فرمادی اور اللہ زبردست عزت والا ہے

And they worship such besides Allah, who do not have power to provide them any sustenance from the heavens or the earth, nor can they do anything.
اور وه اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین سے انہیں کچھ بھی تو روزی نہیں دے سکتے اور نہ کچھ قدرت رکھتے ہیں

And they serve besides Allah that which does not control for them any sustenance at all from the heavens and the earth, nor have they any power.
اور وه اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہیں جو آسمانوں اور زمین سے انہیں کچھ بھی تو روزی نہیں دے سکتے اور نہ کچھ قدرت رکھتے ہیں
