At its seventh meeting, the Committee adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on Cooperation for Peace and Security in Central Africa.

In the WHO African Region, we commend the Brazzaville meetings on non-communicable diseases that were held in April 2011 anddefined our needs in those areas and reflected in the Brazzaville Declaration on Non-communicable Diseases.
The Global Programme of Action was also referred to in the Brazzaville Declaration on the Environment for Development, endorsed by the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment(AMCEN) at its eleventh session in May 2006.
Under the leadership of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, the Democratic Republic of the Congo joined the 2003 Brazzaville Declaration on Cooperation for Peace and Security in Central Africa as a State party.
In addition to adopting the Brazzaville Declaration, the Committee took note with interest of the report submitted by the secretariat of the Economic Community of Central African States on its activities in the areas of peace, security and stability.

As has been the practice since the adoption of the Brazzaville Declaration of 7 June 2005 on electoral support for ECCAS member States engaged in election processes, ECCAS deployed an international election observation mission in the country.
During the regional consultation on the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases held in Brazzaville from4 to 6 April, the African Ministers of Health adopted the Brazzaville Declaration, which outlines the shared position of the States members of the WHO African Region.

The Brazzaville Declaration on Cooperation for Peace and Security in Central Africa, adopted at the Committee's seventh meeting, represents another important step forward in the Committee's quest for a better and brighter future for Central Africa.
SADC heads of State and Government have made several commitments to reverse the epidemic and reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS, as reflected in the following documents: the 2001 Abuja Declaration, the 2001 Declaration of Commitment of the special session of theGeneral Assembly on HIV/AIDS, the 2003 Maseru Declaration on HIV/AIDS and the 2006 Brazzaville Declaration on Universal Access.
Review of the implementation of the Brazzaville Declaration on the implementation in Central Africa of the Dar-es-Salaam Declaration on Peace, Security, Democracy and Development in the Great Lakes Region, adopted at the twenty-second ministerial meeting.
The Brazzaville Declaration adopted at the consultation stressed the needs for priorities to be based on people's choices, for development to be founded on local skills and resources aimed at producing appropriate solutions, for partnerships to be formed among communities, local governments, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and development agencies, and for external support to be based on national plans and programmes.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Advisory Committee adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on the situation between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda by which it, inter alia, welcomed the decision of the two Governments to continue efforts aimed at reopening their respective embassies and encouraged them to complete that positive step.
The meeting adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on the Environment for Development and decision 5 on the implementation of a strategic approach to international chemicals management and other chemical and hazardous waste management issues which, among other things.
At the conclusion of that meeting, the Advisory Committee adopted the Brazzaville Declaration on the situation between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, by which it, inter alia, welcomed the decision of the two Governments to continue efforts aimed at reopening their respective embassies and encouraged them to complete that positive step.

In that connection, Mali is party to the 2001 Abuja Declaration and Framework for Action for the Fight Against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Other Diseases,the 2006 Abuja Declaration, the Brazzaville Commitment on scaling up towards universal access to HIV and AIDS prevention, treatment, care and support in Africa by 2010, and the Lomé Declaration on HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Underlines its support for the Libreville Agreements of 11 January 2013,the N'Djamena Declaration of 18 April 2013, the Brazzaville Appeal of 3 May 2013 and the declaration adopted by the International Contact Group on the CAR at its third meeting held in Bangui on 8 November 2013;
